California State Senator Suggests 'Drag 101' Be a K-12 Curriculum Requirement

The progressive left has gone from wanting to “simply normalize” transgender behavior to conflating transgender behavior with drag queen shows.

Why does a kindergartner need to learn about sexualized shows that feature men dressed as women and imitating female sexuality? Why does a kindergartner need to learn how that man puts on makeup, or how to put dollar bills in his g-string? Why does the left want to conflate transgender with drag?

At this point, it’s a giant troll, but while the left believes the victims of that trolling are “stuck-up, prudish” right-wing adults, the people they’re really trolling are our children.

Enter California state senator Scott Wiener (D-11), an elected official who seems to take pride (during Pride month) in joking about sexualizing children.

Wiener tweeted a response to Republican state Rep. Bryan Slaton, who announced he would be introducing legislation to ban drag shows for children. The move came after reports surfaced of Texas drag bars hosting shows aimed at elementary-aged school children.

Take note of the sign in the background. “It’s not going to lick itself.” You can get a better view of it after the drag performer takes cash from a small child to do the splits before he continues with his sexualized performance.

Wiener responded with a tweet suggesting he had a new idea for a bill.

“Offering Drag Queen 101 as part of the K-12 curriculum. Attending Drag Queen Story Time will satisfy the requirement.”

Wiener did respond to a comment request from Fox News, telling them it was just a joke.

However, Wiener, who is a transgender and “queer” activist, has been supporting disturbing legislation in California that is far from a joke. He has supported bills that will remove parental consent requirements for children as young as 12 who want to “transition” and begin hormone therapies and surgeries, and also would require every medical professional to undergo “transgender, gender non-conforming and intersex cultural humility training.”

If you think Wiener’s statements sound a little…groomer-ish, you won’t be surprised to learn that the state senator also supported the advancement of a bill that would eliminate the requirement for those convicted of sex crimes to register as sex offenders if there was a 10-year or less difference in the ages of perpetrator and victim.

Wiener may well believe he was just making a joke, but it is obvious a vile joke like that comes from a place of truth when you look at Wieners voting record and past statements.

The joke is on our children, but parents are not laughing.
