It is fair to say that President Donald Trump is going to have quite the reaction when he learns some of the eyebrow-raising comments his granddaughter, Kai Trump, made when talking about politics being “dangerous” and whether it's going to be in her future.

During her first podcast appearance, which was posted on Wednesday, the 18-year-old daughter of Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., was asked by podcaster Logan Paul on “Impaulsive” if she planned to follow in President Trump’s footsteps to the White House.

Kai didn’t hold back and made it clear she wants absolutely nothing to do with the political world.

“To be honest with you, I stay out of politics completely,” Kai explained when asked about the 2024 election and Trump’s opponent, former Vice President Kamala Harris. “So I would never run…I don’t want anything to do with politics because I feel like politics is such a dangerous thing.”

“I think if both sides met in the middle, everyone would be so much more happier and I think there’s a lot of this radical left and there’s a radical right, and there’s a lot of people that are getting too extreme,” she added. “And that’s where social media really ties into it because social media kinda makes your Instagram or your feed be one way or the other."

“There’s not a lot of things on social media where you’re very much in the middle, and I think that kinda makes some people crazy and some people buy into it too much," Kai continued. "There’s no bad blood. I’m very much in the middle. I’m kind of like ‘It is what it is.’ They ran against each other. Obviously, I’m going to support my grandpa, my family member, but that’s pretty much it.”

Not wanting to leave politics completely, Paul asked Trump about the current betting odds on Polymarket for her grandfather running for a third term and winning, which she totally shut down.

“I think it’s maybe at four percent,” Kai said, and Paul confirmed it was at 4.1 percent that Donald Trump would win the 2028 Presidential election.

Logan asked, “Do you think that’s possible?”

“I don’t…he’s not running for a third term,” Kai explained. “Sadly, not. No.”

However, Kai did admit there's a lot that could happen between now and the 2028 election when the host said he wasn’t convinced President Trump wouldn’t run.

At one point in the wide-ranging interview, Kai also talked about the unique challenges of having a Secret Service detail while trying to date.

“To be honest, it’s really awkward trying when you’re going on a date with a guy and [Secret Service agents] are like two tables behind you,” Trump said.

“It’s a little weird,” she added. “I try my best to not let it bother me, and I think I’ve learned, especially the past year now … to [know] yes, they’re following me, but also focus and pretend like they’re not there."

“But the first few months, it was tough,” Kai continued, as she explained that over time, it’s gotten easier.

Of course, I know President Trump can’t run again, but man, it sure would be fun to watch the meltdown after he won again.
