The internet went nuts mocking California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom's eyebrow-raising way of sitting, with many pointing out that his extreme cross-legged position was "testicle-crushing" and more.
It all started on Wednesday on X, after images surfaced of Newsom at the New York Times Dealbook Summit, when he took the traditional position one might see a female take of crossing one's legs to a whole new level. He didn't just cross them, but instead literally made an X with his legs.
Apparently, the CA governor took a break from destroying the beautiful Golden State to wreck himself.

Comedian Adam Carolla won the internet with his post comparing Newsom's sitting posture to President Donald Trump's well-known knees-wide manspread.

Since you are reading RedState, you know we are thorough with our reporting. So, we would be remiss not to point out that Newsom apparently must find this way of sitting to be preferable, as we saw a handful of other times he has done similar during interviews or speaking engagements.
One was at the COP30 UN Climate conference in November, another at the Clinton Global Initiative in September.
