White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared an update on the MRI that President Donald Trump underwent during a physical in October.

During a White House press briefing Wednesday, a member of the press corps asked Leavitt if she had checked with President Trump about the need for him to get advanced imaging during a recent health evaluation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

"I'm glad you asked," Leavitt replied. "As stated per the memo provided on October 10, President Trump received advanced imaging at Walter Reed Medical Center as part of his routine physical examination."

"The full results were reviewed by attending radiologists and consultants," she added. "And all agreed, President Trump remains in exceptional physical health. Which I know all of you will see with your own eyes later this evening when he opens up his dinner to the press. And perhaps you will see him when he signs the bill to reopen the federal government."

As my RedState colleague Ward Clark reported, much to the chagrin of radical leftists, Trump, at the ripe age of 79, remains in exceptional health, according to a White House report about his check-up at Walter Reed.

The entire WH press release can be seen here. It was written by the Physician to the President, Sean P. Barbabella, D.O.

Here are the parts that Clark wrote that stood out:

Comprehensive laboratory studies performed in conjunction were exceptional, including stable metabolic, hematologic, and cardiac parameters.

In preparation for upcoming international travel, President Trump also received preventive health screenings and immunizations, including annual influenza and updated COVID-19 booster vaccinations.

It continued:

President Trump continues to demonstrate excellent overall health. His cardiac age - a validated measure of cardiovascular vitality via ECG - was found to be approximately 14 years younger than his chronological age. He continues to maintain a demanding daily schedule without restriction.

Summary: President Donald J. Trump remains in exceptional health, exhibiting strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical performance.

Given President Trump's incredible task over the next three years to try and reverse the damage done by former autopen President Joe Biden, we are going to need him running in top shape.

Editor’s Note: After more than 40 days of screwing Americans, a few Dems have finally caved. The Schumer Shutdown was never about principle—just inflicting pain for political points.
