Fair to say things definitely didn't go as planned for Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom's wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, when she tried to come for President Donald Trump and got leveled by pesky facts about her and her husband's actions.
During a press event on Monday for the Newsom-backed Proposition 50, Jennifer took to the podium to attack Trump as a failed leader.
The event was designed to help gain support for the passage of California's redistricting scheme that would reportedly "temporarily" sideline the role of the state's independent redistricting commission, that's been tasked with drawing the congressional map.

"And I will tell you right now, I will not raise my children to think Donald Trump is an acceptable American leader," Jennifer said. "Nor that he is the leader of what our great country should behave like."
"I won't raise them to think his terror enables his power and that his greed equals success," she added. "He is the exact opposite of what real strength looks like."
Newsom's wife continued, labeling President Trump names like "con-artist" and "malignant narcissist" without a hint of realization of the hypocrisy she was spewing with her husband, who is all this and more, standing right behind her.
It was those comments that many reacted to on social media, leveling Jennifer with those inconvenient truths about her and her husband.

RedState's Jennifer Van Laar brought the receipts about JSN's (Jennifer Siebel Newsom) first-hand knowledge of con artists.

"Sounds to me like JSN knows all about con artists, predators, and malignant narcissists, and defends them to her children," she added.
Fox News' Joe Concha reminded others about Newsom's dictatorial actions during the COVID-19 pandemic when he ordered Californians to stay home while he and Jennifer went out to eat with pals at a party at a very expensive restaurant. And when he shut down schools for almost a year, while he and Jennifer continued to send their kids to private schools that remained open.

As RedState readers know, if Prop 50 is approved by voters, it would allow Democrats to break apart typically Republican congressional districts in the state, to gerrymander the map that's already been massively altered to benefit Democrats.
