The Department of Homeland Security issued a bulletin on Monday warning of attacks on the Homeland following the bombing of Iran's nuclear facilities over the weekend.

In the National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin, the DHS warned that the ongoing conflict in Iran has caused a "heightened threat environment in the United States."

"Low-level cyber attacks against US networks by pro-Iranian hacktivists are likely, and cyber actors affiliated with the Iranian government may conduct attacks against US networks," the bulletin read. "Iran also has a long-standing commitment to target US Government officials it views as responsible for the death of an Iranian military commander killed in January 2020."

"The likelihood of violent extremists in the Homeland independently mobilizing to violence in response to the conflict would likely increase if Iranian leadership issued a religious ruling calling for retaliatory violence against targets in the Homeland," it added. "Multiple recent Homeland terrorist attacks have been motivated by anti-Semitic or anti-Israel sentiment, and the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict could contribute to US-based individuals plotting additional attacks."

The DHS also warned that since the Iran conflict, "we have seen media releases by foreign terrorist organizations (FTOs)— including HAMAS, Lebanese Hizballah, the Houthis, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, among others—some of which have called for violence against US assets and personnel in the Middle East because of Israel's attack. The bulletin directed Americans to listen to their local law authorities and public officials and, most importantly, stay vigilant.

On Monday, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem spoke briefly to members of the press ahead of receiving "intelligence briefings" about possible threats to the Homeland, including potential "sleeper cells" organized by Iran, stating that the country was at an "elevated" level.

RedState has reported on how the failure of former President Joe Biden's administration to secure the southern border and its decision to release hundreds of Iranian nationals into the country could lead to a disaster for our country.

Bob Hoge wrote about how Biden's regime "encountered thousands of Iranian nationals at the border during his term—and let over 700 of them loose."

The report goes on to provide those sobering numbers, and how they just got worse each year Biden abandoned his duties:

Over 1,500 Iranian nationals who illegally entered the US at the southern border were arrested during the Biden administration, and nearly 50% of them were released back into the country, according to a senior US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) source.

More specifically, Border Patrol agents arrested 1,504 Iranian nationals from fiscal year 2021 through fiscal year 2024. Of the 1,504 individuals who were arrested, 729 were released into the US.

The number of Iranian nationals arrested at the southern border increased year-to-year, with 48 being arrested in FY21; 197 in FY22; 462 in FY23 and 797 in FY24.

Likewise, the number of Iranian nationals released also increased, with 12 in FY21; 40 in FY22; 229 in FY23; and 448 in FY24.

Border czar Tom Homan also warned about gotaways at the border following the bombing of the Iranian nuclear facilities.

"We don't know who they are, where they came from, because they got away because border patrol is so overwhelmed with the humanitarian crisis that Biden created," Homan told Fox News. "Over two million people crossed the border and got away. That is my biggest concern. And that's what created the biggest national security vulnerability this country's ever seen."
