Israel Ambassador Mike Huckabee sent an inspirational message of faith to President Donald Trump amid the Israel-Iran conflict, reminding him that, of all the voices that will be speaking to him about what the U.S. should do, there is only one voice that matters, and that's God's.
In a post shared Tuesday by the White House on Instagram, a screenshot of the text message from the former Arkansas governor pointed back to the assassination attempt on Trump at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania in July '24. He wrote "that "God spared you….to be the most consequential president in a century-maybe ever."
"The decisions on your shoulders I would not want to be made by anyone else," Huckabee's message read. "You have many voices speaking to you, Sir, but there is only ONE voice that matters. HIS voice."
"I am your appointed servant in this land and am available for you, but I do not try to get in your presence often because I trust your instincts," he added. "No President in my lifetime has been in a position like yours. Not since Truman in 1945. I don't reach out to persuade you. Only to encourage you."
"I believe you will hear from heaven, and that voice is far more important than mine or ANYONE else's," Huckabee continued. "You sent me to Israel to be your eyes, ears, and voice and to make sure our flag flies above our embassy. My job is to be the last one to leave. I will not abandon this post. Our flag will NOT come down! You did not seek this moment. This moment sought YOU! It is my honor to serve you!"
During Trump's inauguration speech in January, the president opened up about the Butler assassination attempt and admitted that he felt his life had been spared for a reason, RedState reported. It was a moment when Trump spoke with more conviction than he had ever publicly shown.
"Those who wished to stop our cause have tried to take my freedom and, indeed, to take my life," said Trump. "Just a few months ago, in a beautiful Pennsylvania field, an assassin's bullet ripped through my ear."
"I felt then and believe even more so now that my life was saved for a reason: I was saved by God to make America great again," Trump said.
Monday night, Trump left the G7 Summit early amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and told the National Security Council to be prepared to meet upon his return, RedState reported.

FOX: TRUMP REQUESTS NSC BE PREPARED IN SITUATION ROOM
The report noted that:
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth joined Jesse Watters on Fox News Monday evening to affirm that the Trump administration would still like there to be a deal reached, and described the U.S. posture as this:
"We're vigilant, we're prepared... we're in the region to defend our people and our assets."
Before he departed the G7, Trump was asked by a reporter about leaving early:
REPORTER: Mr. President, any comment on why you're leaving the G7 early for Washington?
TRUMP: Well, I have to be back — very important — I want to just thank our great host...Canada, but you probably see what I see, and I have to be back as soon as I can. Going to have dinner with these wonderful leaders, and then I get on a plane — I have to be back early for obvious reasons.
REPORTER: Have you directed the National Security Council to meet in the Situation Room?
TRUMP: I loved it — I tell you, I loved it — and I think we got a lot done, really a lot done...U.K. — we signed a new trade deal today, and we're working on others, but we had a...just a really great relationship with everybody, and it's very nice. I wish I could stay for tomorrow, but they understand. This is big stuff.
