The United States Department of Education, under President Donald Trump's leadership, has abandoned all promotion of Pride Month and instead will focus on the anniversary of Title IX and protecting female sports and spaces.
In a post on X on Monday, the department wrote that "By prohibiting sex-based discrimination in federally funded programs, #TitleIX opened countless athletic & academic opportunities for women & girls across the country."
"This month, we celebrate Title IX's 53rd anniversary & will take more action to protect women's hard-earned rights," the post added.

It was a stark contrast to the post the department made just one year earlier under former President Joe Biden's administration. The post in 2024 was covered in rainbows, the so-called Pride flag, and the transgender flag, with our education department promoting the LGBTQ+ community and lifestyle, per The Daily Wire.
The post, at the time, read, "Every student should feel safe attending school in America. Free from discrimination and valued for who they are."
It went on with more nonsense, "That means creating welcoming and safe learning environments for every LGBTQI+ student and ensuring educators have resources to support LGBTQI+ young people. #Pride."
And in 2023, the Dept of Education's post had more garbled goop about one's authentic self. Blech.
"Everyone in the school community should feel valued for who they are & free to be their authentic self," the post read. "Our message to LGBTQI+ students, teachers, and staff as we begin #PrideMonth: ED has got your back."

Before Trump, our Education Department was focused on pushing LGBTQ insanity, and now it's about protecting girls and saving their right to compete in sports against their gender, not biological boys who feel like being girls. This is something desperately needed in places like California, where a trans-identifying boy just beat out girls in several categories at the state track and field championship.
The department's post is another sign that Pride month insanity might just be over. It comes after major sports finally decided it is time to ditch promoting it during the month of June, including NASCAR and more than a handful of NFL teams, RedState reported.
Sunday was June 1, the start of Pride madness. It was the first time in a long time that social media wasn't inundated with Rainbow Pride flag posts and ones promoting the LGBTQ community/lifestyle.
One noticeable difference from the last few years was the silence from the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, considering they've pushed Pride Month hard in the past despite the fact that its audience isn't interested in seeing it promote the community in the slightest, as OutKick reported.
Ten NFL teams followed suit and, as of Monday, have yet to make one reference to June Pride month, the LGBTQ community, etc. The discrepancy between the following post and our report is that the two teams listed below have since made Pride posts.

There is even more hope nationally that the promotion of the LGBTQ community/lifestyle is coming to an end after some of corporate America appears to be ditching its public support of Pride Month because consumers made it too costly for them.
Brandon Morse wrote that:
As popular social and political commentator Asmongold found, major businesses that once plastered their logos with the Pride flag the moment June 1 rolled around have kept their logos virtue-signal-free.
These include
-Microsoft
-IBM
-Xbox
-Target
-Starbucks
Those last three on the list are especially surprising. Target is one of those brands that's so loud about their participation in Pride that they once offered clothing for "trans kids" to help tuck themselves to appear more like a girl.
