Bill Maher called out the absolute ridiculousness of Hamas-supporting liberals, rightly pointing out the "fundamental rights" that the left "take for granted here in America" they would not have living in a Muslim society.

During the comedian's weekly "Club Random" podcast, the HBO host's guest, Tim Pool, discussed the insanity of what he called the "cult-like adherence to the liberal orthodoxy" for the woke, pointing out how liberals want to be seen outwardly as "perfectly in line with what is virtuous and right." He said that includes supporting the false narrative that Islam is oppressed.

Maher agreed and said the far left really started to hate him when he called out "Islam as what it is, extremely illiberal."

"That's what's so ironic about liberals being so supportive of Hamas, is because you're liberals and these are the people – I'm sorry, but this ideology, Islam, even in its more benign forms – yes, I agree, the vast majority of Muslims – not terrorists, of course," the host said. "But Islamists, which is the word we use to describe people who are not terrorists but kind of agree with the things terrorists are doing and are for, that's a much higher number."

"I mean, most Muslim societies live under some form of Sharia law, which no Westerner who thinks that Hamas is so great could ever live under," he added. "Your fundamental rights that you take for granted here in America, you would not have. I mean, all the protesters who are protesting in Gaza against Hamas - they've all been killed."

"They killed, they killed protesters," Maher continued. "The women, I mean, do I have to say anything more than just if it was just that issue, how women are treated? Are you [ __ ] kidding me?" 

The left's support of Hamas follows the murder of two Israeli Embassy staffers at the Jewish museum in Washington, D.C., on May 21.

The host of HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher" has been an outspoken critic of the left and Democrats. Most recently, that included Maher's message to Dems who were upset about President Donald Trump's crackdown on the border, and it's basically, look "in the mirror," RedState reported.

During Maher's podcast, he spoke to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe about Trump's success on the border, who pointed out that what the president has done is deter people from illegally coming to the country.

Maher then said the quiet part out loud and admitted that what Trump is doing to prevent illegal immigrants from coming here is working:

What he's doing is working as far as stopping people from coming in," Maher said. "If the message is 'you know what, you always had a free ride.' If you thought you could come here, the worst that was going to happen is, 'Oh, all bets are off, go back.' No, you didn't make it. That's the worst that could happen; probably, you're just going to stay here."

[Trump's] message is 'well, no, if you come here and we catch you, it might be worse for you,'" he added. "And you know that is a deterrent, and it is working, the number of people. Every action has a reaction."

Maher continued, pointing out that Biden went so "stupidly far toward a pretty much come-one-come-all, just-walk-right-in policy, and they [the left] have to own that to a degree. Again, I do not support what Trump is doing, but I get where it comes from ... if you go that far left, what do you expect? You are going to get people who come in and go that far right. Democrats have a lot of looking in the mirror to do."
