Remember when the 21st century was going to be flying cars, space colonies, robot maids all streamlined and smooth, maybe with a psychedelic jazz background ? Boy I sure miss that future because the one we are getting seems to be nothing but crazy people trying to see who can out crazy the other. To illustrate we now have the UK’s national health service no longer giving women with breasts and cervix the appropriate cancer screenings. If however you are a man who is confused about what goes where the health service will gladly test you for diseases that are impossible for you to contract.

Biological women who legally define themselves as men will not be routinely scanned for breast and cervical cancer, even if they retain these organs and remain at risk, the National Health Service (NHS) has said.

However, at the same time, biological men who regard themselves as women are being invited for cervical smear tests – even though it is impossible for them to have a cervix – an official guidebook states.

This may well be the most effective regime of preventive medicine ever conceived. It should be nearly 100% effective at preventing cervical cancer in men. On the other hand (Yes there is always another hand), somewhere out there without doubt without fail someone will need a doctor or a nurse that will not be available because government run healthcare wanted to play silly buggers.
