It’s nice to see some people actually get to exercise their first amendment rights, it’s a shame we lost one justice for all somewhere along the way.

Rush Prophetic Again ?

There is unrest in the forest
There is trouble with the trees
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas

You have to laugh when the left almost literally lifts their playbook from rock lyrics but that’s what happening, as planting trees in Israel is now “Ecological Imperialism”

‘artificially making these areas look more like Europe’

Israel is reportedly “one of a few countries in the world that entered the 21st century with a net gain in its number of trees,” according to a group that has pledged to turn the desert-nation into a garden oasis and says it has planted 250 million trees in the region since 1901.

While environmentalists might be encouraged by the efforts of the Jewish National Fund, a group of Ivy League students — including members of Students for Justice in Palestine and the United Minorities Council — say they see it as ecological imperialism.

As part of a recent “Divestfest” protest at the University of Pennsylvania, students eco-demonstrators bemoaned the tree-planting effort, according to a report in The Statesman:

There really isn’t much analysis you can do on this, any line you go down is a dead end, environmentalism, hypocrisy of the left, mankind’s fundamental habit of improving the environment, all accurate but pointless. What you see here isn’t stupidity but a strategy similar to how Winston Churchill described the communists as crooks who would try any opening till they found one that would let them in, this is just the strategy of modern anti-semites who hate Israel and are trying anything they can until they either find something that works or build up enough that don’t to fake a position.

In Japan Trump Isn’t A Nothing Burger

This sounds like a pretty good burger

While visiting Japan, President Trump ate a hamburger, setting off a Twitter firestorm of those both praising and criticizing the choice.

However, his classically American meal has quickly elevated one small-business owner in Tokyo to fame.

When Yutaka Yanagisawa, owner of Munch’s Burger Shack in the Minato Ward in Tokyo, was chosen to serve the president of the United States, he accepted the opportunity, and it’s been paying off ever since.

Sora New 24 reported that hordes of customers have been coming to the 40-year-old chef’s two burger shack locations to buy the Trump burger — a colby-jack cheeseburger made with 100 percent American Angus beef that costs 1,200 yen ($10.54)

Maybe a little pricey and definitely made in Japan though.
