OHIO: Rob Portman Retains His Senate Seat

In a race Democrats were hoping to win, Republican Rob Portman has been declared the winner by several media sources. The Democrats aimed to take the seat by running former governor Ted Strickland. However, overwhelming early results indicated that Portman would carry the state.
