Two years ago, Ben & Jerry’s posted a Fourth of July “We Live on Stolen Land” announcement. The company told us that the US is located on stolen land and that we should commit to returning it. That was two years ago. Did the blue-haired, nose-ringed new-age hippies vacate their stolen land headquarters? Maybe they are still packing. No, it’s performance art, like Hakeem Jeffries' performance this week. It’s fake. Theater.
In Leftistland, theater kids usually just read their lines and exit stage left. They’ve done their part. They rarely do the hard part, like, I don’t know, pack up and hand their “stolen land” to the last Indian tribe to occupy the land they inhabit, or make stupid, defamatory statements that end up as a lawsuit.
In the land of cheese, there’s a brewing company owned by a leftist who has made it his mission to make everyone he doesn't like in Wisconsin miserable. His name is Kirk Bangstad.
Four years ago, Bangstad claimed that a publisher named Gregg Walker was “crooked.” Bad move. Walker sued Bangstad for defamation. Apparently, calling Walker a crook wasn’t enough for Bangstad:
In a social media post from August 2021, Minocqua Brewing Company owner Kirk Bangstad wrote that Gregg Walker, part-owner of the Minocqua-based Lakeland Times, “allegedly stood by and did nothing while his brother accidentally fell from a tree stand and died” because he “allegedly knew he would inherit the once-legitimate Lakeland Times if his brother was out of the picture,”
Yeah, I'd sue somebody if they falsely claimed I watched as my brother died so I could inherit money. Walker sued him again for defamation. That suit resulted in Bangstad paying $50,000 to Walker (and Bangstad claimed he spent $1 million in attorney fees) and his insurer paying over half a million to end the lawsuit.
What does Bangstad do with his free time? Apparently, he owns a company called Minocqua Brewery. It bangs out beer brands that glorify leftist and leftist causes. He also sells "Woke coffee" and progressive merch. Below are some of the labels.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve seen more creativity from 6-year-olds. That’s some stale ale, Brangstad.

Last October, Bangstad was arrested for criminal defamation. He said he wasn’t scared of the cops who arrested him, because he’s a privileged “white male.”
Bangstad’s mission in life seems to be to make noise and bug people he doesn’t like. Principally, people like Walker. And it's all over politics. His “brewing” company is located across the street from Walker’s newspaper. He was again arrested this week for harassing Walker.
Minocqua Brewing Company owner Kirk Bangstad was arrested Friday. He's facing charges for harassment, bail jumping, and disorderly conduct, according to online court records.
According to the criminal complaint, Lakeland Times owner Gregg Walker called the police on Bangstad and others at the Minocqua Brewing Company around 5:00 Friday evening.
Now Bangstad has called on his minions to stop the Fourth of July parade.

He plans to corner politicians and cops to shut down the parade and “ask them a few questions.” 🚩🚩🚩 pic.twitter.com/HxsEbFgCII
Maybe someone should protest his protest, pointing out that he's protesting on stolen ground.
