Democrats are in a quandary. In 2020 they nominated Joe Biden for president. A candidate who, for lack of a better metaphor, was incapable of acting or thinking on his own; he was for all purposes a puppet of the hard left. That was abundantly clear when the Biden administration hired people like Rachel Levine and Sam Brinton - the women’s clothes-stealing, lipstick-wearing bald dude who was put in charge of nuclear waste. It seemed to be an unending traffic jamb of weirdness. Biden had no control over it – but he did embrace it because he was told that that was what America wanted. But we didn’t.
Thirty seconds after Biden flamed out and augured in after the debate, his party was in a panic. They decided that they had no choice but to shank Biden and nominate Kamala. But that choice was made for them by Biden years ago when he tapped her for VP. Kamala was a "she/her", and Kamala was an Indian American, or a Black American depending on her audience. Biden and the DNC had no choice. And she was from a middle-class family with a lawn, so Kamla had to be the nominee. The apparatchiks knew that Kamala was unliked and unlikeable, but they had no choice. Even her staff didn’t like her. So what to do? The DNC constructed a Potemkin village of "Joy."
It worked for a few weeks. It didn’t last. It was as fake as Tim Walz’s war stories. From paying celebrity “friends” to appear on the stage to the media pronouncing that “joy” is the theme of the campaign, it all wore thin - irritating to many who weren’t sure who they were voting for. Fake joy wore out it short welcome. Then, the campaign went hard on the “Trump is a Nazi” theme. We had all heard that before. America wasn’t buying it.
On election day and night, it became quickly apparent that Kamala wasn’t going to win. Joy left the building for a bottle of wine and bed. Ultimately a candidate who cannot command a stage, engage an audience and make people (organically) enjoy the moment is going to lose. And, she did.
Kamala never stopped being the unliked and unlikable vice president. Voters saw that. Now, the DNC is in debt both financially and culturally. Bereft of joy and ideas. There has been a visible shift. Americans are enjoying Trump and it shows.

Not only are Republicans viewed more favorably than Democrats, but voters also support the Trump transition. The president-elect is coming into Washington with a bill of goodwill from the voters. Talk about spitting in the face of these rich, dumb college kids who thought they could gaslight us on the economy, immigration, inflation, and law and order.
There is a paradox in that Trump might be personally polling under 50 percent. Much of that is, I think, residual from the constant drumbeat of “He’s a Nazi!” from legacy media. Deprogramming the cult will take some time. I've noticed a shift. Actual “joy,” organic joy - a devil-may-care attitude. Over the weekend you could see it. At UFC 309, Trump walked into a cheering crowd, saw Joe Rogan and gave him a hug. Jon Jones (by the way, he’s black) won his heavyweight bout and went into a Trump dance. The crowd went nuts. At CNN, they actually went nuts, as in insane, calling the scene of actual joy Imperial Rome. Calm down.
NFL players were doing the Trump dance. The Raiders Brock Bowers scored a touchdown and did a Trump dance. What did CBS do? It edited the clip and removed the celebration.
Then Christian Pulisic, the star of the US Men’s National Soccer Team, scored a goal. He headed to the corner and... went into a Trump dance. He said, "It was funny." It is funny, and fun. Joy.
There is a shift. Democrats are apoplectic – screaming into their phones with “resistance” speeches. Trump voters are doin' the dance. The left is reminding everyone that their “joy” was fake.
Polls show that although Trump still hasn’t cracked that 50 percent likability threshold, most Americans like the way Trump has handled the transition to date.

Biden invited Trump to the White House for a sit-down and it was cordial. Trump met with Mika and Joe Scarborough, and it was cordial. None of them thought Trump was Hitler reborn. It looks like the Kamala "Joy" was all fake.
America is doing the Trump dance. Like it or not, leftists - we are having a party. You can scream into your phones.
