My dad lives in a retirement home. Because I live 1,000 miles away, I visit about once a month. When I get to the facility, there is one resident who recognizes me as being my dad’s son, but the rest of my background has disappeared into the darkness of memory loss. He greets me with squinty eyes, “Bob” asks me the same questions.  

What do you? Where do you live?   

Oh, you’re a lawyer? I was a lawyer. What type of lawyer?  

It’s like we are in a play, and we are reciting the same lines over and over again. Unlike my dad, who remains sharp despite being 20 years that man’s senior, the greeter has little recall from what I told him on the previous visit. That man reminds me of Joe Biden. That should terrify everyone.  

Joe Biden has been in decline for years. He didn’t just switch off in July. He augured long before the debate. He’s been in severe, obvious decline for years. After the debate, Jill had to lead Joe off the stage, like she was taking "Bob" for his potty break. Although Jill saw the same thing the rest of the world was witnessing, she told a throng of people right after the debate that Joe did “great” and Joe “answered all the questions” like she was patting a resident of Shady Hills Retirement Home on the head for completing his bingo card.  My buddy Nick Arama summarized it nicely: 

I'm sorry, Jill Biden is just a horrible human being. Both because she's letting this happen to him, but then treating him like a three-year-old child there, in front of others, acting as though this was some great win for him instead of the unmitigated disaster it actually was.

Kamala Harris has known that Biden belongs at “Shady Hills,” but after the July debate debacle a deal with the devil was made. Joe could remain as president, but Joe would drop out of the race. It was, indeed, a deal with the devil because the DNC, and principally Kamala Harris, knew that Democrats, collectively, were leaving "Bob" from Shady Hills as the leader of the free world. They couldn’t ask him to step down because that would be admitting to his rank incompetence and obvious dementia. The 25th Amendment was a non-starter too for the same reasons. No, they had to turn over the nomination to Harris and allow Joe to serve out his term. Joe promptly went on vacations spending days on the beach, passed out under an umbrella. Harris has "handled" everything. 

Joe really hasn’t really been in charge for years. What could go wrong? As it turns out – a whole lot.  

The world is exploding – not just the Middle East.  Russia is, again, rattling nuclear sabers.  A thug union leader, who resembles Nikita Khrushchev playing a “mafia capo,” issued a Khrushchev-like “we will bury you” threat. A massive disaster is unfolding in America’s South.  Joe has been napping.     

The people close to him knew that he was a human train wreck. Jill Biden had to have known that even before he announced in 2020. Much like Edith Wilson taking the reins for her own addled husband, Jill Biden has been the titular president for at least two years. She knew. So did Kamala Harris. Not once has a debate moderator asked that very basic “leading” question.  

"When did you know that Joe was incapable of being president?"

Sure, they would lie, but make her face the camera and lie to our faces.

Kamala Harris knew that her boss was incapable of acting as president, yet because of optics and Jill Biden's hubris, an addled, incompetent Joe Biden was “allowed” to stay in the presidency. A human head of broccoli is "running" the executive branch.  

The world is falling apart but because of backroom politics, we have “Bob” from Shady Hills as President of the United States.
