Democrats and the left continue to lose their minds over Donald Trump's decision to name Ohio Senator JD Vance as his running mate.

My colleague Mike Miller illustrated the unhinged rage besetting the other side:  

Unquestionably, the hood ornament of the Democrat rage rhetoric clown car is Joe Biden. 

Just six days ago, on July 8, Biden called Trump "an existential threat to democracy," a phrase he repeats ad nauseam. Is it reasonable to assume that low-information crackpots across the fruited plain might be impacted by such hateful, histrionic rhetoric? Of course, it is: it has happened throughout history. 

As Miller discussed, George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley took aim at the toxic rhetoric emanating from progressives:

Just recently, another celebrity, actress Lea DeLaria, begged Biden to “blow [Trump] up” after the recent presidential immunity decision. DeLaria explained that “this is a f*****g war. This is a war now, and we are fighting for our f*****g country. And these a**holes are going to take it away. They’re going to take it away.” 

For months, people have heard politicians and the press call Trump “Hitler” and the GOP a Nazi movement. Some compared stopping Trump to stopping Hitler in 1933. Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) declared Trump “is not only unfit, he is destructive to our democracy and he has to be eliminated.” He later apologized. 

Others say that Trump “will destroy the world” unless he is stopped. 

Shortly after Trump was shot, leftists were developing new conspiracies: 

1. Trump set up the attack
2. Trump wasn’t really shot
3. Trump wasn’t shot – he was hit with a piece of glass off his teleprompter. 

And then “journalists” blamed Trump himself for being shot, or claimed they were now targets because of Trump, or something. 

On ABC, Martha Raddatz's voice practically dripped with contempt at the idea that Democrats generally, and Biden specifically, may have wound up crazy people like the wannabe-assassin Crooks by pushing the idea that Trump is Hitler and the anti-Christ who, if reelected, would turn America into a hellscape.  

“We saw President Trump raise his right hand as Jon just described and we’ve seen those pictures. But we could all also see him say what I believe was fight, fight. That was his first instinct,” she said. “And this is a country divided, this is a country, we saw the violence yesterday, the horrific violence yesterday, and we’ve seen it in places...” 

 “We’ve heard President Trump say he wants the country to come together to be united. But others are directly pointing the finger at President Biden, with, of course, no evidence that he incited this or — or had anything to do with this assassination attempt,” she said. She later added, “We do not know the motive of the shooter.” 

No evidence? Biden stood in front of Independence Hall bathed in blood-red light and labeled half the country enemies of America. Biden has repeated ad nauseam that Trump is a literal threat to democracy. Is it any wonder that Thomas Matthew Crooks “happened?" 

The most extreme example of TDS and cult indoctrination comes out of Jupiter, Florida. Less than a week after the assassination attempt, 68-year-old Michael Wiseman was arrested for making online threats against Trump and JD Vance. His vile hatred included wishing Crooks had been a better shot and asserting that Crooks deserved the Medal of Honor.  

Why is Trump allowed to be alive? We need to train patriots. 

Thomas Matthew Crooks deserves a posthumous Congressional Medal of Honor, a stamp, and a national holiday. 

Wiseman also hoped that JD Vance’s daughters would be raped. Vance’s youngest daughter is two years old. 

“Some people need to be better shots if they know they are going to kill a monster,” one of his messages read, an affidavit first obtained by Law&Crime suggests. 

A joint investigation was launched into Wiseman between the Secret Service, Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office and Jupiter Police Department after authorities received “multiple online crime tips,” according to court documents. 

Biden and Harris have spent the better part of three and a half years telling America that a Trump presidency will be the end of democracy and he must be imprisoned. Yes, Ms. Raddatz, Biden, his social media team, and every loudmouth “influencer” who has ranted incessantly that Trump is Hitler reborn are responsible for people like Crooks and Wiseman.
