Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) slammed his party's embrace of Hamas and antisemitism in an appearance on Fox Business' Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo.
Speaking shortly after 12 people were slaughtered at a Hanukkah celebration in Sydney, Australia, by a radical Islamist, Fetterman described antisemitism as "a worldwide scourge and it's constantly demonstrated to be deadly."

The Australian government has looked the other way as antisemitic "protests" and attacks have increased, leading to this terror attack, Fetterman said.
Those things kind of penetrate, so that's where we're at.
Antisemitism is a worldwide scourge and it's constantly demonstrated to be deadly and it keeps manifesting itself in these things, just like what's happened now in Australia.

Fetterman said that calls for a two-state solution are a "betrayal" and "not the appropriate reward after 10/7," agreeing with Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC) that the creation of a Palestinian state would only lead to "more killings of Jews."
It's an absolute betrayal for Israel and for the worldwide Jewish community, whether it's France or Australia or any of these nations, our western allies, now calling for a two-state solution when Hamas refuses to disarm and are actively trying to kill Jews. I can't imagine why anybody would do that at this point. That is not the appropriate reward after 10/7 and this thing.
I absolutely support Israel continuing to take out leaders from Hamas and Hezbollah as well.
Noting that the Dems' slate of 2026 U.S. Senate contenders are almost all embracing antisemitism, Fetterman said:
"Look at the kind of languages, you know... and look at the races for the Senate in the 2026 cycle. You know, one of the signature issues is being anti-Israel and saying these incredibly anti-Israel kinds of views. I can't imagine why that's becoming more and more part of my party's platform.
"The young people in our nation have turned their back entirely against Israel, and that's the social media. That's the scourge. That's where antisemitism breeds, and that's piped right into their screens all across our nation."
Fetterman has co-sponsored the Muslim Brotherhood Designation Act with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), which would designate that group as a terrorist organization. President Trump signed an Executive Order on November 24 designating "certain Muslim Brotherhood entities" as terrorist organizations, but Cruz called on his colleagues to "expeditiously advance my Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2025, which will lock in designations, provide additional resources for protecting Americans from the Brotherhood and its branches, and has bipartisan support and momentum in both the House and the Senate.”
