When the likes of former Secretary of State and head of the female presidential candidate failure club, Hillary Clinton, forms her mouth to actually praise President Donald Trump for his 20-point Peace Plan without qualifiers, you know it's a significant day.
🚨 I certainly didn’t have Hillary Clinton praising President Trump for the Israel/Hamas peace deal on my bingo card.

Former Secretary of State and National Security Adviser Condoleezza "Condi" Rice always epitomizes grace, so praise from her is less startling, but still no less significant.

On Monday, after 738 days, President Donald Trump secured the release of 20 living hostages taken on October 7. Trump also brokered a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, engineered the deal that saw the return of Palestinians to Gaza, and met with world leaders in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, to sign a historic deal which signaled step four of bringing peace to the Middle East region. Yes, this is only the first phase, and with 16 more points to go through, things could go sideways very quickly. But today, it's a huge milestone that holds historical weight. This day deserves commemoration and celebration.

For years, Trump endured ridicule from the elite, the media, the world—mocked as a clown, a threat, a crook, and a racist. Yet today, he brokered peace: 20 Israeli hostages freed from Gaza's hell, families reunited after 2 years of agony. Those who attacked him talked ceasefires and bowed before the pro-Hamas mobs across the nation. The man they hated delivered the peace they claim in name only. That's the reality of our world today.
Even those who did not vote for Trump have the grace to acknowledge that this moment is significant and he deserves to be recognized.
I didn't vote for him, but my thanks to OUR PRESIDENT for committing America to getting these hostages home. Today is historic, and you deserve a share of the credit.

But as gracious and laudatory as Rice and others have been, former President Barack Obama doesn't appear to have that gift. He managed to talk all around this peace accord but failed to mention or thank President Trump for being instrumental in this partnership coming together.
Stay classy, Barry.

After two years of unimaginable loss and suffering for Israeli families and the people of Gaza, we should all be encouraged and relieved that an end to the conflict is within sight; that those hostages still being held will be reunited with their families; and that vital aid can start reaching those inside Gaza whose lives have been shattered. More than that, though, it now falls on Israelis and Palestinians, with the support of the U.S. and the entire world community, to begin the hard task of rebuilding Gaza – and to commit to a process that, by recognizing the common humanity and basic rights of both peoples, can achieve a lasting peace.
Remember, this is the party that has perfected the word salads and the candidates who utter them. Former Democrat Congresswoman and current VA gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger did pretty much the same thing as Obama, but also never mentioned the country of Israel and doubled down on her pro-Palestine bona fides. This woman wants to be governor of Virginia — let's pray the folks of the commonwealth make a better choice.

I am relieved to hear that the remaining living hostages kidnapped by Hamas have been returned home, and my heart breaks for the families of the hostages who were killed in captivity. I am encouraged by the prospect of a true and lasting ceasefire in Gaza — a war that has lasted far too long and killed far too many innocent Palestinians. The international community must now come together to work toward true and lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
Spanberger and her ilk still have their marching orders, as indicated by the "Ceasefire Now!" crowd still being paid to protest. Predictable.
500,000 people in London for march to "free Palestine" despite ceasefire secured by the Trump administration.

Thanks for confirming that two years of “ceasefire now!” was one big fat lie.. 🙄 pic.twitter.com/MB5gzWt0zV
Then there's the legacy media, who are irreparably broken and may never recover. A New York Times writer is concerned that Hamas is getting the raw end of the deal.
Apparently the New York Times is questioning the wisdom of releasing hostages. This is a new low for mainstream media. Hamas is a terrorist organization by any measure. Truly astounding. pic.twitter.com/BFjXuGKP0n

Then there is CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour, who felt the need to point out that the Israelis were probably treated better than "the average Gazan." Talk about losing the plot.

But despite these efforts to dim and to diminish this powerful turning point in Middle Eastern relations, this day belongs to all those who love peace and have prayed and stood with the Israelis and the Jewish people in all lands to see the hostages returned. Juxtaposed with the grief of those families whose loved ones did not make it home alive is the exhale and embrace of those 20 families who have finally seen their loved ones come home.
WOW!!! The mother of Matan Zangauker, who was held hostage by Hamas for 738 days, finally reunites with her son.

Thank you Hashem, and thank you to Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, President Trump and all who were involved.
Thank you to all who stood on the side of good.
While Trump and his cabinet are speaking on the world stage, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff remains behind the scenes, just honored to have been a part of it. This lovely post by his son pays homage to his significant role not just as a negotiator of peace, but as a man of character and a father.
My dad @SteveWitkoff has always been my hero, the kind of man who leads quietly, works tirelessly, and puts others before himself.

I’m endlessly proud to be his son. And grateful to President Trump @POTUS and @jaredkushner — whose resolve and leadership made this mission possible.
Whatever may transpire in the coming days, for us and for our children, Trump has shown us that peace is not a faraway endeavor, but within reach for those who dare to take action to see it come about.
Blessed are the peacemakers.
