I am loath to offer Tapper and Thompson any publicity as they profit from a book 'exposing' the cover-up of Biden's cognitive decline when they and their employers happily engaged in said cover-up. 

Thompson even won an "award" for his "coverage" at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Game recognizes game, or something like that. 

This week, both Tapper and Thompson are hanging out with their media buddies on their low-rated shows, posting all over X and other social media platforms, and giving half-hearted concessions that they didn't do enough to cover Biden's decline (duh) in order to help promote this odiferous dreck. Thompson also runs interference by doing fact-checks on new media journalists like Tom Elliott of Grabien. Elliott, along with Maze Moore, has video mashups circulating that clearly show Tapper and Co. from 2021-2023 burnishing and defending the lie that "Biden is sharp as a tack," while simultaneously shaming anyone who told the truth.

None of these “details” are new to us nobodies in flyover country with two eyes and a working brain cell or two

While new and alternative media continue to give Tapper and Thompson the side eye and call them out on their duplicity, their typical fellow travelers have also had enough. Progressive pundit Cenk Uygur is livid that Tapper and Thompson are painting themselves as victims.

I get that Biden team lied about his condition, but it was obvious to anyone with eyes. So, it’s infuriating to see the media pretend they couldn’t tell when they would be the first to attack anyone who suggested Biden was too old. Now, they’re pretending to be the victim!

However, it's not just media; the American people are flat-out fatigued, disgusted, and over this hypocrisy and blatant grift. If you read the comments section on many of these promotional posts, they are chock-full of massive eyerolls and evidence-based ratios of Tapper's and Thompson's attempts to sell a bridge to the residents of Death Valley.

Captain Chaos found an evergreen tweet by Thompson that not only did not age well, but says more than the 352 pages he and Tapper are attempting to peddle. 

Yes, you were covering the issue - by covering up Biden’s obvious impairment and attacking the GOP for weaponizing his many obvious dementia moments.

No doubt paid handsomely, which will fund all that perfume Thompson will need to disguise the stench of mendacity, if that's even possible.

Tapper and his friends are posting this fauxpology that Tapper accepts some criticism as "fair." Tapper also half-heartedly admits that while he covered some of the issues, he didn't do enough. Of course, he had to insert a humblebrag that he looks back on in "humility." <insert *eyeroll* emoji>
