President Donald Trump gave a virtual address to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday. Klaus Schwab introduced President Donald Trump to the economists and participants at the forum, saying, "Your return to office and your forthcoming policies have been at the focus of our discussions this week."
Trump began his remarks by alluding to the historic week and how the recent elections ushered in the Golden Age of America.
It's a massive mandate from the American people that hasn't been seen in many years. What the world has witnessed in the past 72 hours is nothing less than a revolution of common sense. Our country will soon be stronger, wealthier, and more united than ever before.

Trump alluded to the prior administration which burdened him with the crisis on the Southern border, the cleanup of the migrant influx, and how he planned to address the suffocating inflation which has driven up the costs of goods and services. Trump then outlined for the Davos participants the measures he has taken in the first three days of the first 100 days of the Trump administration.
The biggest pitch to the participants was Trump outlining his plans for deregulation and unleashing the business might of America. He also encouraged businesses to come and make their products in America.
"Under the Trump administration, there will be no better place on Earth to create jobs, build factories, or grow a company than right here in the USA."

Trump declared that part of the deregulation aims is to divest America from the Green New Deal and the Paris Climate Accord, which raised eyebrows.

Trump concluded his introductory remarks by spotlighting his executive orders to remove discrimination from the federal government through DEI and return America to a merit-based society. In the Q&A, Trump blasted the European Union and their lack of reciprocity and burdensome regulations that slow down the process of doing business and encouraging competition. "I love Europe, I love the countries of Europe, but the process is a very cumbersome one. And they do treat America very, very unfairly." Trump also addressed the fees charged by Europe to land American planes on their soil. Trump also asserted America's energy dominance and how unleashing this will help reduce the cost of doing business for the entire world.
When asked when all this could come about, Trump said, "We are going to move very quickly, we've moved very quickly. It's all taking effect; it's going to have a huge impact in the economy."
