Here's Why the Activist Media Tries Blaming Libs of TikTok for Bomb Threats

The activist media is after LibsOfTikTok again. Chaya Raichik, the individual who runs the LibsOfTikTok X account has come under fire repeatedly from progressives for posting their own videos on social media, showing how depraved they are.

Raichik is also known for covering the ongoing left-wing effort to promote LGBTQ ideology with children. She has highlighted drag shows performed for children, sexually inappropriate material in K-12 schools, and efforts to push “gender-affirming care” on minors suffering from gender dysphoria.

A recent NBC News report is one of the latest attempts to blame Raichik for bomb threats and other criminal acts perpetrated against some of the individuals and organizations that she has highlighted on her X account and elsewhere.

In the article, the author describes a situation in which someone called in a bomb threat at a school in Coralville, Iowa. While no attack occurred, the article suggests that Raichik caused the bomb threat because she had called out the school for pushing sexual material in the classroom.

While the direct inspirations for the threats are not known, the timing suggests that Libs of TikTok posts have been used to pick targets.

NBC News identified 33 instances, starting in November 2020, when people or institutions singled out by Libs of TikTok later reported bomb threats or other violent intimidation. The threats, which on average came several days after tweets from Libs of TikTok, targeted schools, libraries, hospitals, small businesses and elected officials in 16 states, Washington, D.C., and the Canadian province of Ontario. Twenty-one of the 33 threats were bomb threats, which most commonly targeted schools and were made via email.

The main thrust of the NBC News report, and that of other news outlets targeting Raichik, is the intimation that her work exposing the problematic issues occurring in various medical facilities and educational institutions has somehow crossed from the realm of lawful free speech into the world of incitement.

The article explains that the FBI noted “an increase in threats of violence targeting institutions like hospitals and schools.” However, the Bureau did not cast blame on Raichik or any other news outlet.

The notion that Raichik and other influencers and journalists who highlight progressive efforts to sexualize children and push far-leftist gender ideology on them should be blamed for the actions of nutjobs is not only absurd, it is also a slippery slope that could lead to a dangerous place when it comes to our First Amendment rights.

Raichik is one of many, including myself, highlighting what is happening in schools and hospitals. What if some psycho decides to take it upon himself to carry out a violent act after reading one of our reports? Should we be to blame for highlighting a clear problem?

Of course not. It would be like blaming those expressing pro-life views for those who bomb abortion clinics. The fault lies with the individual who made the choice to act, not those who provided information and opinion.

If the mere act of shedding light on controversial or divisive topics becomes grounds for being held accountable for crimes committed by third parties, it would have a chilling effect on journalists and others who speak out publicly on cultural and political matters. Of course, this appears to be the entire point of the ongoing effort to tie conservatives and libertarians to threats of violence, doesn’t it?

It seems to me that this propaganda coming out of left-wing outlets is intended to intimidate folks on the right into keeping silent about what progressives are trying to do to children. The implication is that if we keep speaking out, and a bad actor decides to do something violent, they will go on a wholesale crusade to con the public into believing it is our fault for exposing malfeasance in schools and medical facilities.

Unfortunately for these people, I won’t be backing down, and neither will folks like Raichik and others who are intent on protecting children from the backward ideology of the progressive left.
