Pro-Abortion Terrorist Group Threatens More Terrorism Against Pro-Life Organizations

A pro-abortion extremist outfit called “Janes Revenge” has issued a new threat against pro-life organizations. After claiming credit for a series of attacks against pregnancy crisis centers and other such groups, it appears they plan to escalate as the FBI is investigating the group’s activities.

On Tuesday, Jane’s Revenge published a new letter declaring “open season” on organizations that oppose abortion and referenced a 30-day deadline it had previously set for these groups to halt their operations. The terrorist group castigated volunteers “who impersonate healthcare providers in order to harm the vulnerable.”

“We were unsurprised to see thirty days come and thirty days pass with no sign of consilience or even bare-minimum self-reflection from you,” the author of the letter wrote. “History may not repeat itself, but it certainly rhymes, and we’ve already seen such stanzas where medical autonomy is stripped away, humanity is increasingly criminalized, and merely surviving becomes largely untenable.”

The extremist group then cautioned “your thirty days expired yesterday” and said they “offered an honourable way out.”

“You could have walked away,” the letter continued. “You could have walked away. Now the leash is off.”

On a particularly ominous note, the group discussed how “easy and fun it is to attack” pro-life buildings and said that now that the deadline has passed, their activities “may not come in the form of something so easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti.”

“From here forward, any anti-choice group who closes their doors, and stops operating will no longer be a target. But until you do, it’s open season, and we know where your operations are,” the letter, which was distributed to email subscribers, urged its allies “with the urge to paint, to burn, to cut, to jam,” to engage in acts of violence.

The letter also explained that Jane’s Revenge is “not one group but many” and has “communiqués from the various cells” planted in multiple locations across the country. The group boasted about attacks it had carried out in various Oregon cities like Portland, Eugene, and Gresham. It also firebombed and vandalized buildings in Washington cities like Olympia, Lynwood, and Vancouver.

Fox News reported that the FBI is now looking into attacks carried out by Jane’s Revenge.

“The FBI is investigating a series of attacks and threats targeting pregnancy resource centers and faith-based organizations across the country,” the FBI said in a statement on Friday. “The FBI takes all threats seriously and we continue to work closely with our law enforcement partners and will remain vigilant to protect our communities.”

Two weeks ago, GOP lawmakers sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, urging him to look into the wave of violence. Not surprisingly, their request went unheeded. Now, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) has sent another message to the attorney general, asking him to step down due to his refusal to take these terrorist attacks seriously. He wrote:

What is the Department of Justice doing to protect Americans from these violent attacks? At a minimum, you should bring federal charges against the perpetrators, where appropriate, and investigate “Jane’s Revenge” as a domestic terrorist organization.

If you are unwilling to protect Americans from these attacks, you should resign—although, in my opinion, you should resign in any case.

One can only hope that the FBI’s announcement that it is investigating the attacks is more than just empty words designed to make it appear that the Justice Department is actually taking the matter seriously. But one could not be blamed for not holding their breath.

What is also egregious – but not shocking – about this situation is the silence of the activist media. As of this writing, Fox News is the only news outlet to report on Jane’s Revenge or the extremist group’s threats. The rest have done as I predicted previously: Given the group the Antifa treatment. Basically, they will ignore the extremist outfit until they absolutely cannot afford to pretend they don’t exist anymore. Then, they will do their level best to downplay their activities – even if they escalate to the point of murdering pro-lifers working at pregnancy crisis centers and other pro-life organizations.

The Justice Department earlier warned about violence resulting from the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion on Roe v. Wade. Unfortunately, it appears their warnings have come true.
