Dominion Voting Systems is striking back against famed Kraken lawyer Sidney Powell, who has accused the company of perpetrating massive election fraud to ensure that former Vice President Joe Biden won the presidential election. The company has demanded that the Trump-supporting attorney retract her allegations of fraud.

The Washington Examiner reported: “The Canadian-founded company sent Powell, a former federal prosecutor, a letter on Thursday demanding she publicly retract her ‘wild, knowingly baseless and false accusations’ about the company’s voting machines.” The letter characterized the attorney’s assertions as “predicated on lies” that have “endangered Dominion’s business and the lives of its employees.”

“While you are entitled to your own opinions, Ms. Powell, you are not entitled to your own facts,” the company wrote. The letter continued:

“Although the indisputable facts all point to the conclusion that this was a free and fair election, you launched a media circus and fundraising campaign that undermined confidence in American democracy and peddled false, inherently improbable, and defamatory claims about Dominion participating in an international conspiracy to rig the election, deeply damaging Dominion’s hard-earned reputation and business in the process.”

Powell has pushed a number of theories regarding the presidential election. She recently filed a series of lawsuits in Georgia and other battleground states ostensibly to prove that a massive conspiracy to commit election fraud occurred. So far, each of these suits have been dismissed. The attorney has yet to provide credible evidence supporting her claims.

The lawyer has alleged that the voting machines used in in the election were the same that were used in Venezuela to keep dictator Hugo Chavez in power. She also claims that the machines switch votes secretly, and that a cabal of members of both the Democratic and Republicans parties were involved in an elaborate plot to switch votes to Biden to prevent Trump from being re-elected.

Sources close to Trump told the Examiner that “neither the White House nor the Trump campaign have seen proof Powell claims to have related to assertions about voting machines switching millions of votes.”

The campaign distanced itself from Powell in November.

There are indications that the company is considering legal action against Powell. The Independent reported, ”Dominion’s letter also asks Ms Powell to preserve documents, emails, messages, recordings and other notes related to her claims, signalling potential litigation over defamation claims.

If she refuses to retract her claims, ‘that will be viewed as additional evidence of actual malice,’ the letter warns.”

At least one Dominion employee received death threats after conspiracy theorists falsely claimed that he was on tape skewing voting data.

After weeks of promising a “biblical” and “epic” lawsuit proving that Dominion colluded with Republican Gov. Brian Kemp and secretary of state Brad Raffensperger, along with others, to hand Biden the victory, Powell has not delivered the goods.

Powell has not provided evidence proving that “millions” of votes were switched from President Trump to Joe Biden. The attorney has also come under fire for joining with lawyer Lin Wood in urging Republican voters to boycott the Georgia Senate runoff elections in order to hand the Senate to the Democrats.
