Biden Finally Commented On Antifa Violence At MAGA Rally And It's Exactly What You'd Expect

It’s been over a week since Biden gave a speech in which he called for unity among Americans of differing political beliefs. And yet, conservatives still cannot hold a rally supporting President Donald Trump without being brutally assaulted by Antifa operatives.

On Saturday, Trump supporters held a “Million MAGA March” in Washington, D.C., to show support for the president and protest the alleged voter fraud that occurred during the 2020 presidential election. As with most other major conservative events, Antifa and Black Lives Matter showed up to cause chaos and physically attack participants in the rally.

It didn’t take long for the event to devolve into violence. Skirmishes broke out after the march was concluded, with far-left extremists punching and kicking Trump supporters. One person was stabbed during the fighting, and police arrested at least 20 people involved in the violence. Even after the event was over, radical leftists harassed conservative participants at the rally, hitting them with fireworks as they dined at a restaurant.

But after the day was over, many were left wondering: Where was the outrage from Democrats? Why hadn’t former Vice President Joe Biden, who just called for unity one week ago, chimed in to condemn those who participated in the assaults?

Apparently, this was the question that many politicians and high-profile members of the media had shortly after the fiasco. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) tweeted, “When is Joe Biden, Mr. Unity, going to condemn this violence”

Conservative columnist Joe Concha also weighed in on Twitter: “If unity is the goal, assuming Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will condemn the attacks on innocents that is ongoing in DC, correct?”

Radio talk show host Dana Loesch gave her two cents as well: “I’m sure Biden will denounce this when all the press ask him about it”

Former Acting Director of National Intelligence tweeted: “This is BLM and Antifa. And they are @JoeBiden supporters. Biden hasn’t condemned them – look at the videos.”

The former vice president finally commented on the situation when his campaign gave a statement to Fox News ostensibly to address the mayhem that occurred at the event. “President-elect Biden continues to denounce all acts of violence,” said Biden spokesman Andrew Bates.

The spokesman also added that Biden condemns”repugnant displays of white supremacy that were made in Washington, D.C., this weekend,” referencing a sign which read, “Coming for Blacks and Indians first welcome to the New World Order.”

Remember when progressives got their collective pink panties in a ruffled bunch when President Trump condemned Antifa and white nationalists at Charlottesville instead of just criticizing the racists? Biden’s feckless comment on the violence at the “Million MAGA March” is even worse.

As usual, it was the progressive extremists who came to D.C. to beat up on Trump supporters, not the other way around. If there were racist scumbags at the event, it had nothing to do with the actions of Antifa and Black Lives Matter. It is nothing more than a non sequitur designed to distract from a reality that Biden’s ilk finds uncomfortable.

The former vice president has as much trouble condemning far-left extremist violence by name as AOC does explaining how to pay for her “free everything” agenda. Even during the campaign, he refused to call out Antifa for its embrace of political violence.

During his first speech after the corporate media dubbed Biden the winner of the election, the former vice president said: “I pledge to be a president who seeks not to divide but to unify, who doesn’t see red and blue states, but a United States. And who will work with all my heart to win the confidence of the whole people.”

If this were true, Biden would have no problem condemning specific entities that engage in political violence regardless of affiliation. If the shoe were on the other foot and conservatives beat up participants in a Black Lives Matter rally, you best believe Biden would be wringing his hands and clutching his pearls while specifically blaming the conservative movement for the violence. To people like him, political violence only matters when it’s the other team doing it.

The former vice president’s false embrace of unity was nothing more than empty words — a smokescreen designed to con the public into thinking he would help heal the divide in American society. He had an opportunity to repudiate those who seek to divide through violence, and he threw it away, demonstrating that all he has to offer is more of the same.
