Just when you thought it was impossible, far-left filmmaker Michael Moore rose to record levels of stupidity when he chimed in on President Donald Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis. Amid what seems like thousands of asinine conspiracy theories regarding the president’s health, Moore offered another ridiculous assertion. 

In a Facebook post on Friday, Moore speculated that the president is faking his COVID-19 diagnosis, arguing that he is “not above weaponizing” the virus to bolster his chances of winning the presidential election. “There is one absolute truth about Trump: He is a consistent, absolute, unrelenting, fearless, and professional liar. A serial liar. A factually proven liar,” he bloviated. 

He continued, asking “So why on earth would we believe him today? Has he earned your trust now? No. … We must always remain skeptical when it comes to Trump. He may have it. But it’s also possible he’s lying. That’s just a fact.”

The washed-up filmmaker went on to state that President Trump is “canny” and “clever” enough to use his health condition to influence the conversation after the first presidential debate. 

“He’s an evil genius and I raise the possibility of him lying about having COVID-19 to prepare us and counteract his game,” he insisted. “He knows being sick tends to gain one sympathy. He’s not above weaponizing this. He’s been lying about how soon a vaccine will be ready. What better way to hammer home that lie then by directing a saga in the final weeks before the election that culminates in the release of this ‘vaccine.’”

But the stupidity didn’t stop there. Moore also claimed that Trump might be using his health issues as an excue to postpone the election. “But most dangerously, HE MAY USE THIS TO PUSH FOR DELAYING/POSTPONING THE ELECTION,” he wrote. “The constitution does not allow for this, but he doesn’t give a [expletive] about the Constitution. He and his thug Attorney General [William] Barr have no shame and will stop at nothing to stay in power. He may even use this as an excuse for losing.”

As if that wasn’t absurd enough, he also speculated that the COVID-19 diagnosis might be an exit strategy for the president. “Then there’s this: He may use his Covid as a pretext to drop out of the race and move Pence to the top of the ticket,” he wrote. “Pence would temporarily become President, and then Pence could pre-emptively pardon Trump for all of his crimes.”

At the end of the post, Moore urged Trump to “stay alive” so that American voters can oust him in November. Well, at least he’s not one of the pieces of horse excrement calling for the president’s demise. Nevertheless, Moore knows that every single one of his predictions is silly and that none of them have any foundation in truth. 

However, he is a staunch far-leftist which means he is obligated to respond to the news regarding Trump’s health in the most asinine ways imaginable. Unfortunately, this is the world we’re living in now, isn’t it?
