It looks like Sen. Elizabeth Warren is saying the quiet part out loud when it comes to the open borders agenda. Despite her plummeting poll numbers and her failure to make a showing at the primaries in Iowa and New Hampshire, she is still trying to remain relevant by being the wokest of the woke.

During a speech at a town hall for the Domestic Workers Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Democratic presidential hopeful gave a rather extreme proposal for the 11 to 22 million illegal immigrants residing in the U.S. Under her immigration plan, illegal aliens would be allowed to obtain American citizenship and the right to vote.

They’re not even trying to hide it anymore, folks.

Warren also pointed out that her plan would increase the number of legal immigrants moving into the country. “Immigration does not make our country weaker, immigration makes our country stronger,” she said. “We need to change our immigration laws. I want to see expanded immigration. I want to see a path to citizenship, not only for DREAMers, but for everyone who is here to stay.”

The senator also insisted that the United States should not have “mixed-status families,” with some family members having citizenship while others do not. She’s not the only candidate calling for drastic measures such as these. Former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg espouses a similar policy.

This plan is supported by both the “woke” crowd, who believes enforcing immigration laws is racist and xenophobic, as well as the Chamber of Commerce, the outsourcing industry, and other corporate interests. The Democratic Party also favors open border policies such as these because if they were put into action, they would give the left a significant electoral advantage in elections at the local, state, and federal levels. Unfortunately, none of these groups appear to have concern for the wellbeing of American citizens and those living in the U.S. legally.

These three factions have opposed the Trump administration’s tough stance on both legal and illegal immigration. Despite their resistance, Trump has managed to enact programs that have reduced the flow of illegals into the United States and subvert the “Catch and Release” policies of previous administrations.

The president still has more work to do on the immigration front; recently, the White House released a budget proposal that left out a key component: Mandatory E-Verify and some have taken it as an indication that they are backing off from pushing for this requirement. Moreover, others have been disappointed in the administration’s failure to deliver the border wall, which was one of the president’s initial campaign promises.

But overall, prospects are trending positively when it comes to addressing the immigration issue. The administration is securing more funding for the border wall. The “Remain in Mexico” policy, despite having some issues, has ostensibly solved the Catch and Release problem and allowed for more effective processing of asylum seekers. The president has also succeeded in pressuring Mexico’s government to take a more active role in controlling the flow of asylum seekers and other migrants across its borders.

The open borders faction might be pushing their asinine policy proposals, but it’s clear that most Americans side more with the president on illegal immigration than far-left progressives who routinely call for relaxing our immigration laws. Nevertheless, it is still vital that Americans who still possess common sense continue to push back against the far-left progressive movement. They are not going to stop pushing for open borders anytime soon.
