Hillary Lied: She Knew All Along Benghazi Was A Planned Terror Attack

Hillary Clinton nor anybody else can keep up the lie about the Benghazi attacks and some fictional attachment to an internet video that hardly anybody had ever seen prior to the night of September 11, 2012. Following the attacks of that night, Hillary Clinton made no less than three statements attributing the attacks to a spontaneous event that came about as a result of this video. It was nothing but a lie.

Under questioning from [mc_name name=’Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH)’ chamber=’house’ mcid=’J000289′ ], Hillary was confronted with evidence showing she knew immediately the attacks were not spontaneous and were instead part of a planned attack carried out by groups affiliated with Al Qaeda:

At a House Select Committee on Benghazi hearing Thursday, Rep. Jim Jordan introduced e-mails that show then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton calling the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya terrorism to family and the Egyptian prime minister.

Jordan then questioned why she told Americans the Benghazi attack was a response to an infamous YouTube clip mocking Muslims but e-mailed it was a terrorist attack to the Egyptian prime minister and family.

“You can tell the Egyptian prime minister it’s a terrorist attack, but you can’t tell your own people,” Jordan scolded Clinton.

Not only did she tell the Egyptian prime minister, she also told her family it was a terrorist attack. Below are images of the emails in question Hillary sent, relaying the information:

“We know…..”

Not, “We think” or “We are pretty sure” or “It’s possible.”

Hillary Clinton said, “We know that the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film.”

Worse yet, after Jordan claimed Clinton espoused the false narrative about the video, Clinton tried to change her story right in the middle of her testimony claiming she used specific language as to not make her claims about the video, definitive:

During the day on September 11th, as you did mention, Congressman, there was a very large protest against our embassy in Cairo. Protesters breached the walls. They tore down the American flag. And it was of grave concern to us because the inflammatory video had been shown on Egyptian television, which has a broader reach than just inside Egypt.

And if you look at what I said, I referred to the video that night in a very specific way. I said, some have sought to justify the attack because of the video.

I used those words deliberately, not to ascribe a motive to every attacker but as a warning to those across the region that there was no justification for further attacks.

If it was just for that night, why was she continuing to claim the video sparked the attacks, days later? She said:

This has been a difficult week for the State Department and for our country. We’ve seen the heavy assault on our post in Benghazi that took the lives of those brave men. We’ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful Internet video that we had nothing to do with.

Not only was she assigning blame to the video, but she was making sure to distance the government of the United States from any association with it because the video was produced here in the United States.

The families of the victims of this attacked deserved the truth. Instead they got lies meant as part of a coordinated effort to politically shield President Obama from any potential fallout of a US ambassador being murdered for the first time since 1979.
