Students at Elizabethtown College this month are wearing white pins in the shape of puzzle pieces to remind them of their white privilege.
This movement is twofold: it is a historical, and it is anti-science. It evinces a stark ignorance of history—and of the differences among white people.
Black students should be offered free tuition and housing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison because blacks were legally barred from education during slavery and university remains out of reach for black students today.
