Hello, Red State! Welcome back to CPAC 2021! This is Report # 9. Lots of good information this morning for those who want to get engaged. One good panel was part 5 of a series on elections…Protecting elections before the fact. The panel:

– J. Christian Adams, Public Interest Legal Foundation
– Hans Von Spakovsky, The Heritage Foundation
– Dan Schneider, American Conservative Union

The focus of this panel was HR-1, Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s initiative to lock in Democrat victories forever. From the bill:

To expand Americans’ access to the ballot box, reduce the influence of big money in politics, strengthen ethics rules for public servants, and implement other anti-corruption measures for the purpose of fortifying our democracy, and for other purposes.

Read the entire thing

If you think the Democrat political machine is out of control, let anything near what this bill proposes get signed by IPOTUS Biden, then you’ll see what out of control really looks like.

On a lighter note, Americans continue to let us all know, just what they think about mask mandates in general, and in particular, how they are being enforced by the Hyatt staff.

Finally, in what will likely turn out to be the personal highlight of my time here, I was fortunate to be able to share just a couple seconds with Bo Snerdley, Rush Limbaugh’s producer. Of course, Snerdley would say (and has) that Rush was his own producer. His few short words kept this old grunt from blubbering like a baby. Snerdley is a class act…simply a nice guy. It was a privilege to pass that short few seconds with him.

Stay tuned!
