Politics is a very tough game to play. It's high pressure, it's public, and at times, it's dirty. But what happens when dirty becomes dangerous? Then-GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump had two very public attempts on his life while on the campaign trail in 2024, including one in which the entire world would have seen him assassinated on live television if not for divine intervention.
Less than two months ago, the kindest free speech warrior, TPUSA co-founder Charlie Kirk, was assassinated by an evil leftist. Others, like GOP Rep. Steve Scalise (LA-01), have been shot in politically motivated attacks, but by grace survived.
These are examples of a dangerous environment created by the woke left. When the Democrats in Congress and on TV call Republicans Nazis, Hitler, and threats to democracy, far-left radicals have moved to take action. At some point, after the examples I've given and others not mentioned, you'd think Democrats would take their rhetoric more seriously and hold themselves accountable.
I regret to inform you, the opposite is still taking place.

In an interview on Monday with CNN, Democrat Rep. Nancy Pelosi (CA-11) went off the rhetorical rails when talking about President Trump.
Pelosi: He's just a vile creature. The worst thing on the face of the earth.
Reporter: You think he's the worst thing on the face of the earth?
Pelosi: I do, yea. I do
Pelosi: Trump is "a vile creature. The worst thing on the face of the Earth."

CNN: "You think he's the worst thing on the face of the Earth?"
Pelosi: "I do." pic.twitter.com/5zziHbzIN0
A "vile creature?" After the attacks we have seen on Republicans, this is the type of language she chooses to use? The CNN anchor, Elex Michaelson, at least followed up with a question, allowing her to clarify her position, which she doubled down on.
I do wish Michaelson had followed up once again to give examples of true evil and forced her to make the comparison between President Trump and actual evil on the earth. This type of dark rhetoric that Democrats continue to use towards President Trump and administration officials like Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller is extraordinarily dangerous, and Pelosi has to know this.
In a post on X, Piers Morgan clearly points out just how deranged this statement is from a top Democrat.
FFS… this is so absurd.

Worse than Hamas terrorists? Iranian mullahs? Putin? Jong-Un? Democrat dinosaurs like Pelosi don’t know anything but over-demonising Trump. It’s why they’re polling so badly. https://t.co/XsC4bWuaOA
Morgan, of course, is correct. Believing President Trump is worse than Hamas and those who perpetrate evil on the world is madness. Unfortunately, for Republicans, incendiary rhetoric like this from Democrats has become par for the course.
During Trump's first term, Madonna herself dreamed of "blowing up the White House." Who can forget the photo posted by Kathy Griffin as she held Trump's severed head? Already, during Trump 2.0, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough falsely claimed that President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were "killing people across the globe."
Joe Scarborough: Question number one, when are we going to finally see the lawsuits move on USAID and actually an injunction that stops that, all of those actions right now that are literally, unless the reports are exaggerated, literally killing people across the globe right now, this morning, this instant.
This led to Secretary Rubio correcting the record, announcing that USAID "life-saving humanitarian assistance" would continue. When Democrats and reporters in the media regularly get information incorrect, or use the type of language we've seen, accountability is key.
On Tuesday, folks in Virginia head to the polls to vote for their state leadership. As RedState reported, Democrat Attorney General nominee Jay Jones, in text messages sent in 2022, clearly stated that if he had two bullets and was standing in front of then-Virginia House of Delegates Speaker Todd Gilbert (R), Hitler, or Pol Pot, he'd choose to shoot Gilbert twice in the head.
Former President Barack Obama campaigned for top-of-the-ticket Virginia Democrats on Saturday.
To emphasize my point, President Trump has broken these people. President Obama’s legacy has been nearly destroyed. There’s not much left. Nancy Pelosi, the former longtime Democrat Speaker of the House, is a shell of herself as she’s watched the Democrat coalition she built over her lifetime be washed away by the MAGA movement.
I understand why Democrats dislike President Trump. Watching someone destroy your entire legacy has to be difficult. However, the rhetoric from Democrats and the far left has put Republicans in danger. It must stop.
Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
