In the wake of several travel alerts issued for the “free state of Florida,” as Gov. Ron DeSantis calls it, including a warning by NAACP for “hostility” towards black Americans, and Hillary Clinton entering the fray to warn the rainbow community of transgender plus, plus, plus, identifying people and even billion-dollar corporations to avoid the state, a GOP Senator has issued another warning. 

On Tuesday, Republican Senator Rick Scott of Florida posted a video to Twitter. In the caption, the Senator wrote:

I’m warning socialists and communists not to travel to Florida. They are not welcome in the Sunshine State.

In the video, Sen. Scott said:

Senator Rick Scott here. Let me give you a travel warning: If you’re a socialist, communist, somebody that believes in big government; I would think twice — think twice — if you’re thinking about taking a vacation or moving to Florida. We’re the free state of Florida, we actually don’t believe in socialism. We actually know people, some people in our state lived under it, we know people lived under socialism — it’s not good — it’s not good for anybody. So if you’re thinking about it, if you’re thinking about coming to Florida and you’re a socialist or a communist, think twice. We like freedom, liberty, capitalism, and things like that. 

Predictably, progressives, leftists, and Democrats took to social media to react to his comments in opposition.

This comes as the second installation of the commie travel warning, as Scott issued a formal travel advisory late last month following the NAACP’s warning, which was mocked after the revelation that the board’s chairman lives in Florida.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Rick Scott issued a formal travel advisory for all socialists visiting the state of Florida. The travel advisory comes in direct response to the Biden Administration attempts to erase capitalism and the system that has brought prosperity to Florida and the entire United States.

The formal travel notice states, “Florida is openly hostile toward Socialists, Communists, and those that enable them. Before traveling to Florida, please understand that the state of Florida devalues and marginalizes the contributions of, and the challenges faced by Socialists and others who work in the Biden Administration.”

“Let me be clear – any attempts to spread the oppression and poverty that Socialism always brings will be rebuffed by the people of Florida. Travelers should be aware that attempts to spread Socialism in north Florida will fail and be met with laughter and mockery,” said former Governor and now Senator Scott.

“However, in much of Central and South Florida, the situation is far more dangerous for Socialists, as they may encounter people from Cuba, Venezuela, and other parts of Central and South America and the Caribbean who have direct knowledge of, and experience with, the horrors of Socialism.”

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, Team Rick Scott released a video highlighting Senator Rick Scott’s travel advisory warning socialists and communists that they should not travel to Florida. The Sunshine State is openly hostile toward anyone who wants to spread socialism and the poverty that comes with it.

The travel advisory is a direct response to the Biden Administration’s attempts to erase capitalism and the system that has brought prosperity to Florida and the country. Florida is a free state filled with people who have experienced the horrors of socialism firsthand. Socialists, communists, and those who enable them are not welcome.
