I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I'm clairvoyant, I just know that if you add two and two, you're going to get four.
And I know that if you tell a bunch of Americans that dogs have to go to appease people of the Islamic faith, Americans will choose the dogs by an overwhelming majority. Not only that, but you're going to see a lot of middle fingers being held up to the Muslims demanding that people obey.
On Monday, I wrote an article about how a debate had started online between Muslims and Americans over whether or not dogs should be banned. I don't mean from public places or from certain areas, I mean banned in totality. According to the leader of one Islamic group, dogs are unclean and therefore need to be completely banned from our society. This got a response from Congressman Randy Fine, who put it bluntly:
"If they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one."

Since then, the internet has exploded in support of dogs, especially at the expense of the Islamic world, which is exactly what I predicted would happen. You'd think in a country where political correctness is still an issue, there would be a lot of people still unwilling to speak out like that, but nope. America found its line in the sand.
I could post a hundred posts found on X from the rabble about this, but I'll just give you this one.

And not just Americans either. Brits are getting into the pushback, too, including famous ones. Ricky Gervais, ever the comedian, posted a picture of himself and his dog while promoting a vodka brand called Dutch Barn. Apparently, it wasn't allowed in public spaces for fear that it might offend someone, and he asks you not to spread it around.

We even got a new Amelia video out of it.

Moreover, in what seems like an odd coincidence, dogs are popping up in highly public places in ways that make the world cheer for them, like, for instance, the Olympics.
Islam: Ban dogs! They are unclean!

Rest of the world: GIVE THIS DOG A GOLD MEDAL FOR BEING A DOG! https://t.co/rfZXCzy9hU
I think it's fascinating that, of all the things that have triggered a pushback against Islam in the immediate sense, it's the attack on man's best friend. Islamic radicals have been killing people left and right. They flew two planes into the World Trade Center and have been harassing, assaulting, and killing people from the Western world. Yet, the West practiced seemingly infinite patience with them, with some even submitting in the name of "inclusivity" and not being thought of as racist.
You even had women purposefully converting and donning clothing required by Islamic tradition, amidst admissions that women are second-class citizens with few to no rights.

But threaten dogs, and suddenly all bets are off. The politeness is put away. People are outwardly making it clear that should they try to ban the dog, they'll ban the religion that tried to ban the dog.
What I find interesting, on top of all this, is that the left is currently obsessing over colonialism and "stolen land." A few breeds of dog were actually native to America, thus making the animal part of this land. Islam, however, is not native to America. It came here looking to conquer it. To colonize it, if you will. By that logic, dogs belong in America, and Islam doesn't. By the rules the left supposedly lives by, they too cannot allow Islam to take over and drive the dogs out.
This continues to be one of the biggest PR foul-ups I've ever seen from a group, and I report on the Democrats a lot.
