On Friday, I wrote about the Left’s bizarre relationship with a sort of inverted form of moral licensing, and today, a display of the end result of this was perfectly demonstrated in Seattle, Washington, during an anti-Islam/pro-Iran march.
For those who need to be caught up, moral licensing is when you do something moral or virtuous, such as giving money to someone in need or helping an old woman cross the street, and the resulting feeling of virtuousness you get from it gives you the feeling that you can ethically slack a bit because your goodness gives you license to do so.
The Left turns this supposed concept upside down. They believe they’re in a constant state of moral debt, and as a result, they’re under constant pressure to pay back that debt by adhering to certain beliefs, practicing certain voting habits, and even accepting self-denigrating ideas or societal positions that are below others to the point of devaluing their own life based on identity.

There’s a concept Gad Saad is currently writing a book about that pertains to the Left called “suicidal empathy,” and it ties in to the moral debt many leftists, especially leftist white women, think they owe.
As Saad tells of suicidal empathy, it's like the act of convincing one tribe that another tribe should be empathized with to the point where watching as your own women are being raped, your civilization demolished, and your children destroyed causes you to sit passively based on a pseudo-moral idea:

This idea is directly connected to the idea of moral licensing, or, in the Left's case, extreme moral debt.
Case in point, watch this leftist woman defending the terrorist group Hamas in direct opposition to, and in the face of, Iranian protesters supporting the removal of Islam's dictatorial and abusive hold on the country.

When you break it down, this leftist woman has no real reason to be out there telling those who are opposing the Islamic dictatorship, especially those who are Iranian, that they're wrong.
In fact, this woman has every reason not to be doing that, seeing as how Islamic regimes treat women as second-class citizens that equate more to property than people, don't allow them to be educated, and are more than happy to abuse and even kill them for stepping out of line.
Yet, like many radical leftists, she's been convinced that she owes a moral debt based on her identity and first-world privilege to the point where she's willing to have that level of suicidal empathy. She will stand in the way of the people who actually do have skin in the game to tell them they're wrong, and they need to go back to being oppressed and dehumanized because, in her mind, this is the moral thing to do.
This is the epitome of lunacy, but this is the radical Left.
And the issue for us is that these people vote. They pull the lever for people who best represent the identity of those whom they think we owe the greatest debt to, not the person who would actually do a good job and advance America and her people. This is how you wind up with a Zohran Mamdani and an Ilham Omar. This is how you get insane levels of corruption under the leadership of Tim Walz.
They've been brainwashed, from the top to the bottom, that they owe something to people who hate them, and they're willing to go so far as to put themselves into a position of extreme danger from the very monsters they're having that perverted sense of empathy for.
And what's even worse is that they think it's entirely moral to put you in that position too.
Give them the opportunity or the avenue, and they will sacrifice you on the altar of their pseudo-moralism, and I don't mean metaphorically. Moreover, based on your identity, your death may or may not even be worth all that much to the cause.
