As the left is burning and vandalizing Tesla vehicles, even going so far as to harass their owners with messages and confrontation, Elon Musk was doing something incredible. He sent a rocket up to space using his company SpaceX, and rescued stranded astronauts that have been stuck there for months.

What's infuriating is that what should have been eight days turned into ten months by an issue with Boeing's rocket issues. Musk offered to go and get the astronauts using SpaceX rockets, but he was denied by the Biden administration. Why?
Political reasons. Musk was firmly in Donald Trump's corner, going so far as to being a key feature of Trump's campaign, and the last thing the Democrats wanted was to hand Musk a PR win that could damage Kamala Harris's campaign. This was confirmed by Musk, who told Sean Hannity why a SpaceX rocket hadn't gone up sooner despite there being availability and capability to bring these astronauts home.

It's a moment that really does define the times.
The left is committing arson and assault against Tesla and Tesla owners over what they say is the rise of fascism and control of the country by unelected people. Hilariously, they didn't have a problem with unelected bureaucrats while the Democrats were in power, and are now committing violence because Musk is demolishing the bureaucratic infection that's plagued our government.
While Musk is literally doing things that truly represent the American way, the left is acting out violently. They are effectively practicing fascism themselves, only because they think that fascism is only a right-leaning kind of dictatorship, any attempts at establishing their own control through violent acts is moral and good. Actual fascism believes that violence, especially politically based violence, leads to a healthier nation.
As usual, Democrat politicians are entirely silent about all this because they largely agree with this kind of activism.

This is exactly the rallying cry of the left now. It was their rallying cry during Black Lives Matter, too. The left is the fascists in the room, but true to form, they identify as something else. The unofficial motto of the left is "It's okay when we do it."
This is all exposing what the Democrats are really about. They think this is about fighting for America by lashing out against Tesla, but it's actually about pushing back on the American values of smaller government to facilitate better freedom, accomplishing breakthroughs through success, and merit-based advancement.
The Democrats want their bureaucracy to reign in perpetuity, which is antithetical to American values. With Musk and DOGE destroying this, they're ruining the path to the "Utopia" the left has sold to too many people and convinced that fascism is winning. They are, ironically, convincing people that America is being destroyed.
But Musk is one of the greatest representatives of the American dream, and he's using the success he found in this country to make it greater. He's invented things that are propelling us into the future. He's attempting to make our species interplanetary. He's finding ways to make us better stewards of the planet we already live on. He's using his technologies to help those in need, whether they're in war-torn areas or people who came up against natural disasters. This man is literally rescuing people who are stranded in space.
Meanwhile, there's no telling how long the left would have left those people stranded as they attempted to catch up to Musk technologically. They would rather people remain disconnected from the world in disaster zones so as not to hand their political enemies a win. They would rather the EV tech that could make the environment healthier not be perfected because it's not being done by the right people.
The left's utopia would mean us crawling in the dirt.
I wrote about how the Democrat Party sees us on Wednesday, but in truth, this extends to the left as well. They don't see the grand picture, and moreover, they don't see people. They don't see humanity. What they see is cogs in the machine that they'll throw wrenches into, grinding everything to a halt, even if the machine is working well, because it's not working how they want it to.
These people are fighting for regression, but more than that, they're fighting against the American dream and what it stands for.
And they're doing it in the pettiest ways possible.
