CBS Really Swings for the Fences With New 'Mean Girl' Resistance Strategy

On Monday, I wrote an article describing the Democrats as being "scattered, demoralized, and leaderless" and it's becoming more obvious every day that the party is desperate for any foothold they can get. It seems they're at the "throw everything against the wall and see what sticks" phase, and CBS really reached into the depths of the internet to find what they must consider an interesting strategy.

It's "be mean to Republicans."

But not just any kind of mean, dear reader. CBS is talking about being "Regina George" mean. You know, the villain from "Mean Girls."

I wish I was kidding, but this is exactly what CBS wanted to highlight as a legitimate strategy of taking on Republicans in this age of Trump. They're empowering people, namely women, to fight back through the power of mean.

As such, CBS News had a TikTok influencer named Suzanne Lambert on to discuss her mean girl strategy, and in-studio no less.

They introduce Lambert as a TikToker who garners millions of views mocking Republicans, and shows off one of her videos in which she mocks conservative women through a makeup tutorial.

The interview starts with Lambert saying she used to the President of her Republican Club back in high school, and it was only through meeting people outside of her circle that she started to realize how bubbled Republicans were. When conveniently asked if there was a particular issue that truly set her against Republicans, Lambert quickly fired off that it was "women's reproductive rights" that caused her to fully turn against the right.

From here, the interview devolves into what I can only describe as "cringe" territory.

Lambert encourages viewers that the time for "peace and love" is over, but assures viewers that there is a lot of "love in fiercely advocating for people and policies." Like every other leftist, she declines to criticize Kamala Harris's campaign strategy of "joy," but says there should have been moments where they turned up the fierceness a little more.

I'm not sure if Lambert was watching the same campaign everyone else was, but there wasn't a lot of joy present in that campaign, but there sure were a lot of moments where Harris came off as mean to certain groups, such as Christians. We can see how that worked out for her.

Lambert then goes on to say that being mean is something men do all the time, and encourages women to be mean to Republicans without apology. She brings up the humor of people like Steven Colbert and Jon Stewart as a guide to follow. To be clear, Jon Stewart is actually funny from time to time, and Steven Colbert forgot how to be funny a long time ago.

Moreover, if Colbert's "humor" actually was effective, we might have a different president right now and he'd have better ratings.

Lambert spends the rest of the interview patting her own back, proclaiming that people are messaging her to thank her for sticking up for leftist causes such as transgenderism.

I looked into Lambert's TikTok page, and after going through some of the videos, I can tell you right now that I definitely want the left to employ Lambert's strategies. Earlier, I used the term "cringe," and I can't find a better word to describe Lambert's videos.

Lambert spends a lot of time critiquing the makeup techniques of Republican women. In fact, I'd say that's 90 percent of what she does.

Here she is going after Nancy Mace's makeup, but she also throws in some insults about her failed relationships too.

So the Democrat strategy is to call Republican women "ugly." Yeah, that'll put the Democrats back on top.

Trump is going to be President forever.

I want to point out that this only proves the Democrats still don't get it. One of the big reasons Trump won was because the Democrats had such a massive disconnect from the wants and needs of the people. Our economy was in shambles, our border was open, trafficking of every kind was rampant, and we had an incompetent and corrupt government guiding it all.

I can promise CBS and Lambert that the Democrats didn't win because they weren't meant enough, but again, at this point it's pretty clear that the Democrats are listless, broken, and unsure about what to do next. Having this "influencer" on whose videos are hard to get through represents a real low moment for the left.

These are the people Lambert and CBS News are encouraging leftists to be mean to people who were stagnating and suffering under the Biden administration.

Bold strategy, Cotton.
