Back in 2019, Jim Acosta stood on the Texas border with his hand on a slab of metal that made up a border wall fence that President Donald Trump had erected. As he did, he told the public with a straight face that there weren't any illegals crossing the border and the "border crisis' was something being exaggerated and overblown in order to convince people Trump was right.
It was one of the dumbest moments in legacy media history, because the location Acosta chose in his attempt at proving Trump wrong was a location that was proving Trump right. The wall worked. People were no longer trying to cross there.
The thing is, this moment was just one drop in an entire bucket of examples of CNN attempting to manipulate viewers to believe a narrative that was clearly false. As I covered in December, CNN has a history of standing in front of something you can see with your own eyes, and attempt to convince you the exact opposite of what you're seeing is true. This includes the "fiery but peaceful" moment, as well as the COVID death counter.

CNN was integral to teaching America that what Trump said about the press was true; that the legacy media was "the enemy of the people," something Acosta took very personally. He spent quite a bit of his time as CNN's White House correspondent attacking Trump and confronting him, even to the point where it made Acosta and CNN look absolutely foolish.
And it's something Acosta is still holding onto today. As my colleague Rusty Weiss reported, Acosta gave a small monologue about how the press isn't the enemy of the people, calling it "the defender of the people":
"[President Biden] warned the free press is crumbling in this country, I would add that's only if we, the people, let that happen," the melodramatic anchor said.
"Journalists exist to seek the truth, to tell people stories, to lift up voices that may not be heard otherwise. To shine a light on injustice and hold the powerful accountable, we are not the enemy of the people we are the defender of the people."
He even held up a placard allegedly given to him by a woman which reads, "I march for Jim Acosta and a free press."

Acosta is high on his own supply. That much is obvious, but he's not alone.
The legacy media is full of elitists like Acosta with elitist views of any given issue. They are detached from regular Americans in a big way, and as such, have no qualms about trying to manipulate and lie to us. Moreover, they do this in order to accomplish an agenda that is, too often, not in your best interest.
A solid example of this is the COVID hoax. Legacy media couldn't stop telling you how many people were dying, how awful it is that people weren't following Fauci's guidelines, defending the vaccine mandates, and attacking people who complained about their livelihoods circling the drain and dying. As Florida Governor Ron DeSantis opened up his state in spite of all the fearmongering, they attacked him and the Florida Republicans.
They wanted to keep you in a state of fear because that fear was allowing for more control. It was certainly keeping a lot more people glued to their televisions.
This is not, as Acosta suggested, the nature of a "defender of the people."
It was around the time of COVID that I created a video around Yuri Brezmenov, the KGB defector who gave an interview about the four-step plan to take over America without firing a shot. It shouldn't surprise anyone that much of what you see in this four-step plan is being enacted by the press. Even if the end-goal isn't Communism, the result is still power, which the press covets.
You'll notice in this video that I show you how the press and the government work together to scaremonger and agitate.
If the legacy media is our friend and defender... then why are they constantly trying to suppress, frighten, and divide us?
Trump is right. They are the enemy of the people, because if it wasn't, our political landscape would look radically different and our people wouldn't be at each other's throats like we are. Moreover, Trump wouldn't be the devil in the eyes of so many people.
