It's pretty clear the Democrats have nothing left in the tank. All the outrage about this or that issue has fallen short. Kamala Harris has proven to be a ridiculous candidate, with all the charm and charisma of a moldy piece of bread. When the Democrats weren't suffering from a severe case of bad leadership, they were being roasted online as narrative after narrative was destroyed before it could truly find its feet.
So with no other arrows in their quiver and all options exhausted, they have one last trick up their sleeve.
Lie to those closest to you.
The Democrats know that the only issue they still have a grip on in this nation is abortion. That's it. Not the economy, safer streets, better schools, lower taxes, good foreign policy, or stopping our sons from being shipped off to fight WW3, nothing like that. It's literally just abortion.
The left believes this has caused enough trepidation, namely in women, to be able to sway them to vote for Harris. However, they do know because there are too many logical reasons to vote for Trump, people might feel the need to vote for Trump despite their feelings about abortion.
So the strategy is to tell these people to give the impression they're voting for Trump, but secretly pull the lever for Harris. This is effectively telling people to disregard reasoning, don't listen to the solid arguments of their loved ones, just pretend you're in for Trump then vote for Harris anyone.
"Lie to those close to you" is the strategy.
"Hey, wouldn't it be cool if you gave the impression that you're going to vote for Donald Trump to appease the people around you but then secretly you just voted for Kamala Harris on the only issue she has to run on; abortion?" is the plan.
Check out these three ads that were released recently. We've covered them on RedState already, but they all have the same theme.

If you've read the above articles, you've likely seen these two ads, one for women voiced by Julia Roberts and one for men voiced by George Clooney. Both of them show people walking into voting locations giving the impressions, either to their friends or family, that they'll vote for Trump before filling in the bubble for Harris after their "conscience" takes over.
In the voting booth, women still have the right to choose.

Thank you to Julia Roberts for helping us make the choice clear - November 5th, let’s all choose a new path forward.#progressive #progressivechristianity #voteblue #harris2024 #prowomen #evangelicalsforharris pic.twitter.com/fchO3yj1na
For instance, in the male version, the man changes his vote to Harris because his daughter calls to him, and the insinuation is that he votes for Harris to protect what the left calls women's bodily autonomy, but is really just abortion. This seems to be the left's last desperate appeal to men; vote to allow your daughter to be sluts inconsequentially.
It’s time to put your love of your family over your love of Trump. No one has to know what you do in the voting booth. #liberal #progressive #progessivechristianity #voteblue #HarrisForPotus2024 pic.twitter.com/LFdyho2nTQ

Sadly, it's a tactic that's worked on some... well, I'm having a hard time calling them "men."

Then there's this one from The Lincoln Project.
"Ladies, today as you head into the voting booth, remember your vote is no one else's business," the ad says.
It features two men discussing how their wives might vote, and both seem confident that they'll vote for Trump. However, the two women lock eyes at the voting booth and one mouths "Kamala," resulting in both women filling in the bubble for Harris as other women look on approvingly.
"Your vote is your secret. He'll never know," the text at the end of the ad reads.

That's the message.
Lie to your friends. Lie to your family. They're not important. Don't listen to their reasoning. Disregard their points, and don't listen to their concerns. This is about abortion, ladies, so lie and vote for Harris.
Never mind that your sons and possibly daughters could be drafted into a third world war, have worse schools, or be the victim of the rising crime rates. Never mind that they could fall into an economy where a job is hard to come by.
All that matters is the ability to kill babies in the womb, so lying to your spouse is okay.
Here's something to think about:
If these people are willing to encourage you to lie to those closest to you, do you think they'd have any qualms about lying to you over anything?
