The Democrat Party Is So Radicalized That the Center-Left Is Now the Right

I keep hearing Ronald Reagan when he spoke about his departure from the Democrat Party. Or rather, how it had abandoned him. You know the one. It's been used a lot recently, and for good reason.

"I didn't leave the Democrat Party. The party left me."

This is probably more true now of the Democrat Party than even then. What Democrats have become is beyond extreme. Maybe they were better at hiding it back then, or perhaps there were Democrats then who actually still cared about the United States of America and just had a different idea of how to make it great.

However, the new Democrat Party doesn't want to make America great in their own way. As Barack Obama said, he wanted to "fundamentally transform" America, which is a fancy way of saying completely remake it from the ground up. To be sure, that's exactly what the left is up to.

I could run you the list, but you know most of it. A complete denial of biological science, open borders and illegals streaming into the country, a list of nonsensical economic decisions that benefit everyone but Americans, open loyalty to our enemies from various elected officials, and a penchant for advocating and embracing socialism or communism.

If I were to look at it like an alien from space, studying humanity from afar, I'd say the Democrat Party was very much the anti-American party.

It's gotten so bad that the meaning of the word "Democrat" seems to have gotten muddled. Many people who identified as Democrats all their lives suddenly found themselves, as Reagan did, without a political affiliation. So extreme has the Democrat Party become, that their once center-left position has become right, and it happened without their knowledge.

In fact, as I've covered before, many of these center-leftists have opinions that were once considered left-leaning but are now considered "far-right."

I think it's very interesting that someone like RFK Jr. suddenly found himself endorsing Donald Trump, and may even find himself somewhere in his administration should Trump win.

Then, of course, there's Tulsi Gabbard, who fought to win the Democrat primary in 2020, only to have her party turn around and try to destroy her after she exposed Kamala Harris for the abusive fraud she is. It's only too bad people have short memories, or in the case of many loyal Democrats, don't care.

Vote blue no matter who, right?

I could go on and include some of the legislators in various states that decided to swap parties after it was clear the Democrat Party had lost the plot, but the point is that these party swaps aren't actually party swaps. These endorsements of Trump aren't just the result of a mind changed and values readjusting.

These people, at least in large part, didn't really move ideologically. Perhaps they were pushed slightly to the right after the treatment they received from leftists and Democrat colleagues, but they're still the same people. They just contrast so much with the Democrat Party now that they seem like they are on the right.

If the Democrat Party has dragged the definition of center with them to the left, which I'd argue they have succeeded in doing thanks to their control of the media, then these disaffected center-leftists are, indeed, now right-leaning.

As fun as it is to think we'll be getting a lot more votes for Republicans out of the mix, it's more likely that many will just stay home and not vote at all. As such, it's never been more important than ever to get out and vote, tell your friends to vote, and help volunteer to get the word out.

We live in dangerous times, and if Democrats are now looking more right-leaning every day, then what's coming from the left isn't anything we want controlling our country.
