Amazon’s bastardization of J.R.R. Tolkien’s work looks worse and worse with every ad, leak, and interview. As fans slam it for its wokeness, the cast and crew are trying to defend the show with blatant lies.

One of these, in particular, is the claim that there’s no tokenization in its casting. That claim falls flat based on previous interviews and falls short of Amazon’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policies for the “Rings of Power” which even include inspections to make sure these policies are being upheld.
