The Biden administration is full of very questionable hires, and Sam Brinton is definitely one of them. Brinton now serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy, but due to recent revelations, he shouldn’t be employed as the local dog waste disposal guy.
Brinton made waves as being a “gender-fluid” inclusion to the White House, but according to The National Pulse, he should be more (in)famous for defending a website that promoted gay underage prostitution. As the Pulse reported, the now-shuttered website “Rentboy.com,” closed in 2015 following an illegal prostitution raid for connecting young male prostitutes with clients. The Department of Homeland Security arrested chief executive Jeffrey Hurant and six employees during the raid, and indictments revealed the negligence when it came to age verification, calling it a “gray area.”
This was especially egregious in Asian markets, where employees were encouraged to hide the faces of the very underaged prostitutes in advertisements. Employees were encouraged to lower the standards by Hurant when it came to age verification in Asia-market advertising.
As reported by The Pulse, Brinton defended the website on the LGBT website “Advocate” where he wrote that sex work was integral to the mental health of gay and trans young men:
“…sex work disproportionately affects the LGBT community. Transgender people engage in sex work at a rate 10 times that of cisgender (nontrans) women. And many LGBT youth engage in sex work just to survive. A 2013 Center for American Progress report suggests that LGBT youth are more than three times as likely to have engaged in survival sex.”
Brinton wrote that the dissolution of Rentboy.com was “more dangerous than the website ever was.” He expressed sympathy for the young prostitutes who had found a source of income through sex work and then had it ripped away all because of “archaic views” towards prostitution:
“The federal government’s recent attack on Rentboy.com is a devastating assault on some of the most vulnerable members of our community — young adults who, for the first time in their lives, were able to earn a secure living safely through Rentboy after surviving family rejection and homelessness because of their sexual orientation or gender identity,” begins the article.
“Rentboy.com may or may not have broken the law. I don’t know,” concedes Brinton, adding “but I do know, from the frantic emails filling my inbox, that the raid on its headquarters has thrown many gay, bisexual, and transgender young adults into turmoil as their main source of income has been ripped away due to irresponsible and archaic views of sex work.”
As RedState has previously reported, Brinton is a man who is very open about his kink and wishes to bring other people into it. He’s known for giving lessons about things like “electro play” and seems to have an odd fascination with bestiality as he likes to dress partners up as dogs.
That he was a troubled man we already knew, however, this revelation shines an even more disturbing light, not just on Brinton, but on our federal government as a whole.
It also raises other questions. Did the White House know about it before they hired him? If they didn’t, will they do something about it now that this information is getting out?
