As the left begins contemplating riots in D.C. over the leaked draft decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, the anger they’re feeling can only be outweighed by the unmitigated glee Democrat politicians and narrative-makers must be feeling at this moment.

Up until now, the left had very little to unite their own party around. Democrats were fleeing as radicalization took hold. Even in the bluest of the blue cities like San Francisco, Democrat officials were taking losses. Between the open borders, rising crime, attempts at brainwashing and masking children, and an economy sinking faster than an anvil in whipped cream, the Democrats were looking at midterms with little to no hope.

Then this leak happened and now, finally, they have something that can energize their base and maybe win some Democrats back to their side. It also raises some questions.

For instance, President Joe Biden had a statement come out about this entire thing come out very quickly:

If the Court does overturn Roe, it will fall on our nation’s elected officials at all levels of government to protect a woman’s right to choose. And it will fall on voters to elect pro-choice officials this November.  At the federal level, we will need more pro-choice Senators and a pro-choice majority in the House to adopt legislation that codifies Roe, which I will work to pass and sign into law.

This is the same White House that has been dragging its feet on everything from energy production to border security, yet this statement containing a battle plan came out the moment the word “Roe” was uttered in the Supreme Court.

Odd. So odd that even Missouri Senator Josh Hawley had to ask a simple question. Did the White House know about this leak before it was leaked?

Democrats have a storied habit of creating a crisis just before major elections with Black Lives Matter being the most recent of these. The goal is simple; create a crisis that threatens the foundations of our society, blame it on Republicans, and watch as outraged Americans unite with the Democrats to finally put an end to X. Of course, the issue fades the moment the smoke from the election clears but might be revived just in time for the next election.

Democrats had nothing. They couldn’t revive Black Lives Matter which is currently mired in lawsuits and scandals at the very top. It appears to have served its purpose and run its course.

But if there’s one thing the left is perfectly willing to lose all sense of reason and decorum over, it’s abortion. It’s a topic that gets the left so riled up that activists will start chucking jars of their own excrement around. Entire marches can be crafted out of it. Abortion isn’t just one of the left’s favorite pastimes, it’s a ready-made rally point in times when they need something to unite voters.

The timing of this leak makes it feel like it wasn’t an accident. The left needed something to get their base energized and here it is as if delivered by magical means.

We need to find out who leaked the draft decision and to who it was leaked. My bet is that this went to a lot more places than Politico.
