Cancel Culture Suffers Big Loss as State Farm Sticks With Aaron Rodgers Amid Vaccination Controversy

If Twitter and the leftist blue checks who hate Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers were hoping the controversy surrounding his non-vaccinated status and rejection of woke culture were going to be enough to get him canceled, then I’m happy to disappoint them.

It looks like Rodgers is going to be just fine and one of his biggest sponsors isn’t going anywhere.

According to Fox News, State Farm has decided not to drop Rodgers as a representative of the company despite calls directed toward it and other companies to dump the QB. While Prevea Health did break from Rodgers over the weekend, the insurance company is refusing to distance themselves, saying that they respect decisions and perspectives of all kinds, though made it clear that they do not agree with everything Rodgers said.

“Aaron Rodgers has been a great ambassador for our company for much of the past decade,” State Farm told FOX Business.

“We don’t support some of the statements that he has made, but we respect his right to have his own personal point of view. We recognize our customers, employees, agents and brand ambassadors come from all walks of life, with differing viewpoints on many issues. Our mission at State Farm is to support safer, stronger communities. To that end, we encourage vaccinations, but respect everyone’s right to make a choice based on their personal circumstances.”

In other words, State Farm is going to treat people like adults.

The calls for cancelation came after Rodgers appeared on the Pat McAfee show and told his side of the story. This included pushing back on the current vaccine narrative, including saying that he was taking Ivermectin and flatly rejected the attempts by woke mobs and media figures in trying to take him down for not fully complying with their woke culture.

Naturally, this would infuriate the leftist mobs, but it would appear that State Farm isn’t caving regardless of the pressure. This indicates several things.

Firstly, it may mean that State Farm likely looked at the support for Rodgers and found it greatly outweighed the hatred. Despite their best attempts at making themselves seem like they’re representative of the majority’s opinion, those in support of Rodgers made their presence clear in many different ways.

Secondly, their research over time may have found that a good deal of their customer base is either hesitant or flatly refuses to take the vaccine, and detaching themselves from Rodgers over this may lead to many ditching their insurance plans and taking their business elsewhere.

Thirdly, they may be being very honest and truly do respect the decisions of people when it comes to the vaccine and/or their perspective on woke culture. Not something you’re used to seeing out of a corporation, but anything is possible.

Either way, State Farm is a very big company and you can bet that many other companies will follow their lead in terms of their position on Rodgers. Once one company makes it clear that it’s safe to stay, others are far more likely to as well.

Regardless of State Farm’s reasoning, it’s good to hand cancel culture and the woke mob an L.
