With Rogan, you may have completely different viewpoints than he does but you’re fascinated to hear what he and his guests have to say. His guests run the gambit from conservatives to leftists, from college professors to social media CEOs and everything in between.

Because of his fame, Rogan was offered a multi-million dollar contract with Spotify which he signed. However, his time on Spotify if already running into trouble and as you can probably guess, the trouble is coming from the leftist employees.

According to Screen Rant, Spotify employees want to be able to hear Rogan’s podcast first and then, if they think it’s okay for public consumption, they’ll release it:

Joe Rogan is a controversial figure, a common tactic among the most popular talk show hosts. Rogan’s unfiltered comments often cause an uproar among various groups, which plays right into the show’s approach. Rogan claims to simply be speaking his mind and even makes a rare apology if proven wrong about a topic. According to Digital Music News, employees are now seeking greater editorial control, following some Spotify employees having complained about recent episodes and requesting action be taken. According to Vice, a town hall meeting was held to discuss the issue. Apparently, Spotify CEO Daniel Ek defended Rogan’s right to speak freely, while gingerly acknowledging Spotify’s own responsibility to moderate its content. Ek was said to mention ten other meetings about Rogan recently, so this could be an ongoing issue.

What did he do that was so terrible as to warrant the woke employees at Spotify to demand they be able to clear his podcast for release first? He dared question the trans activist community:

The recent round of controversy is thought to be in relation to a JRE episode from July, featuring a book with the title “Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters.” As if the title and subject wasn’t alarming enough, Rogan added fuel to the fire claiming trans activists have an agenda, “…that anybody who even thinks they might be trans should be trans, are trans, and the more trans people the better.” Spotify CEO Ek reportedly looked to justify the company’s decision to continue hosting the episode by stating “The fact that we aren’t changing our position doesn’t mean we aren’t listening. It just means we made a different judgment call.”

It means they’re sticking to the contract, but that’s beside the point.

I mentioned earlier what makes Rogan unique among podcasters and it’s that he doesn’t have an agenda outside of trying to find the truth, or at least hearing what his guest considers the truth from there perspective. There is no gotcha journalism, no questions that set-up someone up for failure. All debate is open and friendly and Rogan isn’t there to win, he’s there to listen.

This free exchange of ideas is dangerous to a left that believes that merely talking about ideas that differ from their own is violence. It’s a stupid notion from people who don’t know what violence truly is because they’ve gotten to live in comfort their entire lives.

Regardless, someone promoting the idea of free thought, even if he disagrees with it, is absolutely dangerous to people who think that thought control is the only way to a brighter future.

They are clones who want to create more clones and that can’t happen if Rogan is allowing people outside the mold to speak. For them, Rogan’s sins will bring down all of society.

This isn’t true at all, and the real danger lies with these thought Nazis. They must be resisted at every turn.
