Sell your cloak and buy a gun.
A church giving away a gun is probably one of the most American things you can think of, and yet, this has apparently evoked the outrage of the mob who swarmed the church and threatened its administrators.
If black lives matter, why did this black family require guards to be escorted into church to be protected from the mob? pic.twitter.com/CPu5RIaG5K

According to the New York Post, Grace Baptist Church in Troy held an assault rifle giveaway during its service via a raffle. It’s not the first time it’s done this, but according to protesters, this time was especially bad:
“It’s extreme poor taste, the time that they decided to raffle off a rifle when we have all of the shootings going on in all of our communities,” protester Steven Negron told the outlet.
“An AR-15 is completely unnecessary in this community. Even as a hunting rifle I mean that’s not really the type of rifle used to hunt.”
They also claim that firearms play no role in religion.
What was the church’s reasoning behind the raffle? According to its Pastor, John Koletas, it was a way to honor the hunters and gun owners that had “been so viciously attacked by anti-Christian socialist policies.”
Koletas’s point is correct. The left is constantly trying to disarm Americans and that isn’t a conspiracy theory. They proudly proclaim that they’re going to eliminate firearms off our streets, even if they have to violate the Constitution to do so.

As far as violence against religious people, you can already see that taking place as Catholics attempted to defend the statue of a Saint from being torn down by rioters. The mob swarmed the Catholics, screamed in their faces, and even violently lashed out at a few.
I think we’ve learned by now that it starts with statues and it ends with destruction and violence. It’s only a matter of time before Christianity comes fully into the crosshairs. We’ve seen churches vandalized and attacked. Christian church’s tax-exempt status is oftentimes the subject of much discussion within the left.
But more importantly, radicalism doesn’t allow for anything other than its ideological cause to be worshiped. There can be no room for Christ when the only deity they want in place is the system they want to institute. You can’t be obedient to God and their version of the state.
Remember, for a complete systematic wipe you have to get rid of the religion it’s based on. Christianity is going to be the radicals’ most important target, it’s just not powerful enough to take it on yet.
So Christians arming themselves is very important, not just because they’re American citizens with the right to but because self-defense may very well be necessary for the near future. We’ve watched the mob attack people for far less.
And to those who believe that guns and religion have nothing to do with one another, I’m going to have to disagree profusely. Luke 22:36 showed Jesus instructing His disciples to buy swords for self-defense, and sell their cloaks if they have to get them.
In Exodus 22:2-3, God makes it pretty clear how He views self-defense.
“If a thief is caught breaking in at night and is struck a fatal blow, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed; but if it happens after sunrise, the defender is guilty of bloodshed,” reads the verses.
There’s a stark difference between self-defense and vengeance. Self-defense is the act of defending yourself and others in the midst of an attack. Vengeance is the act of setting out to right wrongs based on your own sense of justice, and “vengeance is mine” according to God. That’s for a reason.
You can see vengeance playing out in our society by people who believe they know our history and are informed as to who the true villains of our time are. They’re mistaken and are harming innocent people in the process. “Vengeance is mine” sayeth the leftist extremist.
The problem is that their vengeance will never be satisfied as their entire existence and purpose rely on the fact that they’re righting wrongs based on their own sense of right and wrong. If they’re allowed to make ever-changing rules then there won’t be any end to the violence. This is why we base our system of laws on God’s rules. He is static and unchanging.
They can’t even get what they believe straight.
