The Climate Strike on Friday brought with it some interesting characters, as these types of gatherings often do. Climate protests often look more like a pagan celebration than an actual march for anything.
Case in point.

But even the devout lovers of “mother Gaia” are just as guilty as the rest of us when it comes to polluting the planet. That’s what the Daily Caller’s Stephanie Hamill set out to prove when she went down to the climate strike to talk to participants about their use of plastics, gas-guzzling cars, and paper for signs.
Their primary justification for all of their environment harming things? As you can see in the video below…
…they’re victims. Surprise, surprise.
Falling back on the old excuse for wrongdoing, the climate protesters that were confronted all pretty much ran to the same excuse of blaming society for their use of all these things, not themselves. Given, nobody told them to waste paper to make protest signs, nor were they ordered to hop into cars and planes that use fossil fuels to power themselves, but it doesn’t matter.
To them, wasting all of those resources in order to get down to this climate protest that will change absolutely no one’s mind is the fault of everyone else who has crafted this society that they currently live in.
The funny thing is, it’s a pretty safe bet to believe that even if these people were confronted with having to truly change their lifestyle in order to make the planet a “better” place as they believe it, they likely wouldn’t.
On Friday, Sky News’s Alan Jones read a letter to the students who had left their classrooms in order to participate in the climate strikes. The letter was brutal, but it wasn’t wrong. In it, the letter noted that today’s climate activist students demand air conditioning, own cars that choke the roads, and constantly carry own electronic devices that require charging.
They also consume more products than any other generation before them and even advocate for artificial population growth through mass immigration which requires even more use of resources that harm the land.
The letter suggests the climate activists cut back on their lifestyle in order to save the planet, but as Jones read, that will never happen.
“But none of this will happen because, the piece says, you’re selfish, badly educated, virtue-signaling little turds inspired by the adults around you who crave a feeling of having a noble cause while they indulge themselves in western luxury and unprecedented quality of life. The piece ends by saying wake up, grow up, and shut up until you’re sure of the facts before protesting.”

I couldn’t agree more. These people don’t really care about the environment, they just want to be seen looking like they do to absolve themselves of the guilt they’re told they have.
