And now for something completely different.

I don’t mind movies being rebooted or remade, so long as they’re good. Blade Runner 2049 was an amazing sequel to the 1982 cult classic, and Mad Max: Fury Road was a lesson in how to revive a franchise.

Add to the fact that I’m 100 percent positive that Keanu Reeves can do no wrong, and a blast from my childhood past being given a sequel since the last entry in 1992 is getting me excited. Understand, this is hard for me to do seeing as how Star Wars was ruined before my very eyes with boring, nonsensical plot lines and characters that made me miss Jar Jar Binks.

Ladies and gents, the announcement for Bill and Ted 3 has been announced, and Alex Winter himself joined Keanue Reeves in announcing that we’ll see the flick next year.

The title will be Bill and Ted Face the Music, and if the duo’s chemistry holds up as it seemed to, even in this announcement, then this is going to be EPIC!

Eric Davis of Fandango posted the synopsis of the movie as well, which noted that a middle-aged Bill and Ted have not yet achieved the near deification foretold in the previous movies. A traveler from the future tells them, however, that a song they create is the only thing that can save life as we know it. They’re even helped along by a few rock legends as well.

If there is any justice in the world, this time traveling comedy won’t contain any references to modern events, and judging by Reeve’s history of actively not engaging in politics, we can safely assume that this will be exactly the kind of movie everyone can enjoy.
