Only THREE Democrats Voted AGAINST Infanticide...THREE

It’s hard to understand why an entire party of people would go so far as to vote against literally murdering a baby outside of the womb after it had been born, but that’s exactly what the Democrats did in solidarity against Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse’s recent legislation. All except three, that is.

To be clear, Sasse’s legislation would protect infants that were born alive after failed attempts to abort the baby. Only three Democrats thought that killing babies outside of the womb was wrong enough to stand against it as the Daily Caller highlighted:

Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. Bob Casey voted alongside Republican Sen. Pat Toomey, also from the Keystone State, who had co-sponsored the bill with Sasse. Democratic Alabama Sen. Doug Jones, who recently flipped his seat from Republican hands, also voted with Republicans Monday.

Democratic West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin was the third Democrat to cross the aisle on this particular issue — a move that many likely expected after some of his more recent comments. Manchin was one of the only Democrats to stand during President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address when the president called for an end to abortions after the unborn baby can feel pain.

The West Virginia senator, who has voted with Republicans in a few notable cases recently, explained, “Late term abortions are just horrific…totally just wrong.”

The inmates are now running the Democratic party asylum. Democrats have voted in favor of barbarity. The slaying of children that they previously failed to kill in the first place.

To be clear, we’re not even talking about abortion anymore, or “women’s health.” We’re now talking about a baby that is alive and kicking, and in medical care. Democrats have voted for the capability of murdering that child. Not aborting it.

Murdering it.

Thankfully, Republicans aren’t going to give up that easy. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell made that promise.

“That would make quite a disturbing statement,” said McConnell of the Democrats eventual vote to deny protections for infants. “If they do inexplicably block Senator Sasse’s effort, I can assure them that this will not be the last time we try to ensure that all newborns are afforded this fundamental legal protection.”
