New York Congresswoman Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez (D) goofed when she essentially chased Amazon out of New York, and one group is letting the people know who is to blame for their continued lack of jobs.

Job Creators USA decided to throw a billboard up in the middle of one of the busiest places on the planet, Times Square in New York City, that highlighted the fact that 25,000 jobs would now never come to NYC as well as $12 billion in lost wages over Amazon pulling its second HQ plans from New  York.

The billboard also provides a site to visit which, once clicked, takes you to the Job Creators USA page about Ocasio-Cortez’s massive screw-up and the failure of socialism:

The termination of the venture marks a significant blow to the New York economy. Not only will New Yorkers lose out on 25,000 new jobs and $4 billion in wages, but also $12 billion in economic activity for the region. This is money that would have been flowing through the hands of consumers and businesses in the area—strengthening local communities and expanding commerce.

Amazon’s pullout is just one example of what can happen because of a socialist, anti-business agenda. Imagine the consequences if it is repeated on a larger scale.

JCN wants to make it very clear to everyone that the reason New York is now so much money and jobs down is due to Ocasio-Cortez making New York such a hostile place to the corporation.

Amazon announced that it was canceling any plans it had to put an HQ in New York, citing “a number of state and local politicians” who “made it clear that they oppose our presence and will not work with us.”

This was later followed by Ocasio-Cortez taking a victory lap on Twitter, calling Amazon’s would be proposal “creeping overreach.”
