There are serious ongoing problems happening right now along the southern border of the country as immigrants continue to attempt — too often successfully — to enter this country illegally, but if you were to ask the Democrats, there’s no real problem at all.

You can even see it in the legislation they attempt to pass as Democrats refuse to give a single cent to President Donald Trump’s promised border wall, yet they’ll attempt to throw millions of dollars at foreign organizations for abortions.

The freshly minted Republican congressman, Rep. Dan Crenshaw of Texas, lives in a state that has to deal with these kinds of things first-hand and understands the reality of what illegal immigration can do.

He also understands that there’s a border problem because, very simply, it’s right there for us to see. It’s all over the television as we see a new story every day about it.

Regardless of the obviousness, Democrats would have us believe that there isn’t a problem at all and that we should believe them over our own eyes and ears. Crenshaw has created a term for this kind of blatant refusal to embrace reality: “Border Denialism.”

Crenshaw took to Twitter to share his new phrase with us and its definitions:

Crenshaw then added a third definition just for good measure:

At this time, a government shutdown is underway as Democrats refuse to give Trump one rusty nickel for the wall, with the exception of Pelosi, who pledged a dollar to Brian Kolfage’s GoFundMe for the border wall.

Border officials have shown up to Washington in order to plead their case that better border security and walls do in fact work, but it has fallen on the deaf ears of the Washington elite. Regardless, Republicans are holding strong, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has told Democrats that they had better start getting serious about border security or all of their partisan bills will die either in the Republican lead Senate or the Republican desk of the President.
