Some weird stuff is happening above our planet and apparently, NASA isn’t too keen on us seeing it.

According to the Daily Star, footage was captured by the International Space Station Cameras of a massive blue object appearing and hovering over the Earth. Zooming in, you can see the immensity of the blue object and that it has a white center.

The station focused on the image for some time before NASA cut the live feed.

To steal a popular X Files quote, I’m sure there’s a scientific explanation for this. The shape of the object is nebulous and looks like a ball of gas more than a craft or any solid object for that matter.

But if there is an explanation, then NASA certainly hasn’t released one yet, and the fact that they cut the feed is, frankly, odd.

If it is a phenomenon then I certainly would like a viable explanation for what it is and whether or not it happens often. Space is a weird place and we don’t understand the vast majority of it. If it turns out to be a glow off some space dust, or maybe even released liquid from the ISS that caught the light and looked bigger than it was then that’d be fine too…

…but why cut the feed?
